I’ve eaten them extensively (dried and canned) and have used them in many different recipes. Have also been making hummus for years. Decided to give these a shot to see how the local farmers can do.They arrived yesterday and I forgot to soak them overnight, so I just boiled around 2 cups of dried beans for 5 minutes and then let them rest on the stove with a lid for an hour. After draining them and adding clean water, I boiled them again and they finished perfectly around the 45 minute mark. I added some pico de gallo, lemon and a balsamic dressing and sat down for lunch.These garbanzo beans looked clean in the bag, but the taste is even cleaner. Looking forward to seeing how these turn out when I make hummus. By far the best tasting and cleanest, freshest dry garbanzo bean I have purchased to date.Prove me wrong 👌

Fantastic quality! Arrived intact and on time. The chickpeas were well-sorted, consistent in size, fresh (not dried out and desiccated), and also very "clean" in that there as very little dust or debris in the bag. 10/10 would buy again.

I ordered these to not only sprout but also to grow some microgreens with them as they taste wonderful and are decorative as well as very nutritious - I ran into a few issues with growing them and contacted the seller/producer and - bummer - did get a lot of 'not so great' advice but basically didn't get an answer to my questions - not even regarding how to grow them best indoors for microgreens. I did hope for more advice.

I just received my third 5 lb bag of these dried chickpeas because they are so good, I go through the bag quickly, making great hummus and cooking up the beans in my instant pot to use for soup and salads. I've tried quite a few dried and canned chickpeas and these are the best.

I bought the 15 lb bag.... I loved the burlap bag they came in.... top-notch.... I immediately vacuum sealed them in a mason jar.... part of my food pantry for the future... love the fact there is no desiccant like glyphosate used.

They make amazing creamy, fluffy hummus too. The extra cost is worth every penny! I’ll be ordering again!

Fresh and mild taste

Unlike the Costco chickpeas, these absorb water very well and very quickly - the sign of a great dried legume. Expensive, but if you're looking for fresh chickpeas, these are really good. I'm used to a stronger tasting chickpea... I'll have to do a side x side to figure out whether these are a little less pungent than others.

I can’t praise these enough! If you cook your own chickpeas with these, you’ll never go back to canned chickpeas. I’ve already bought two bags and will be ordering another one very soon.
