This has kept me from having any more attacks but there was still stiffness/soreness in the big toe. Stumbled across this product and thought I would give it a try. Within 12 hours of taking it, I noticed more flexibility in my big toe. A week later, not perfect, but much more flexibility in the toe and I'm able to walk on the ball of my foot rather than the outside of the foot to avoid flexing the toe.This product seems to be working for me, but each individual reacts differently to food items so may or may not help you.Will I reorder this product, yes.

Being a gout suffer for over two decades, I put down my prescription allopurinol, and decided to try something different and went with this product as a natural alternative. After taking this product and switching to a strict vegetarian diet for three months, I went back to my doctor for another blood test and was able to get my uric acid to normal levels for the first time in twenty years! I think the vegetarian diet is your most effective treatment for gout and other issues such as diabetes and high triglycerides of which I was suffering from too and got amazing results on my blood test also. But with a vegetarian diet and this total cleanse uric acid treatment, I found serious results.If you image search on google "Acid Load to the Kidneys" you will see a chart with foods highest in acid and foods that are more alkaline. You can see by looking at the chart that ALL animal proteins create an acidic load to your body and that beans, fruits, and veggies create an alkaline environment in your body. Uric acid crystals can not form in an alkaline body. Realizing this information, all one has to do is become a vegetarian and they are on there way to a gout free life.After becoming a vegetarian I did experience a few serious gout attacks. You might wonder how could this be if I was on a vegetarian/alkaline diet? I realized that I had lost 40lbs in less than six months and your body stores excess uric acid in your fat cells so when you loose the fat, the uric acid that was being stored gets dumped back into your system. This along with taking an apple cider vinegar supplement to help desolve built up uric acid deposits in my joints I believe contributed to the attacks.I know becoming a vegetarian is not for some, but I am a chef who loved all animal protein and never thought in my lifetime I would ever be a "veg head" but I have been amazed at the results of switching and I'm never looking back.

I have used this product for about 8 years or more and wouldn't consider not using it. Some of the negative reviews below don't realize why it doesn't work for them. This is not a medicine. It is a natural herbal remedy which means that it takes time normally to build up and be effective on an ongoing basis. I take one in the morning with breakfast and another at night with dinner. However, its ongoing effectiveness will be impacted by minor (or major) dietary changes which are also necessary depending on your eating habits. If a person's diet is packed with rich foods on a consistent basis and lots of red meat without being offset with healthier elements in one's diet, then no gout medicine or herbal remedy will ultimately be completely effective. Another cause of build up of uric acid in the blood can be the side effects from some blood pressure reducing medicines (such as HCTZ) which is how I originally began to get gout (as well as a love for some rich foods :). Because of changes in diet & exercise, I was able to stop taking HCTZ when my blood pressure lowered to normal levels but the gout remained. But after a short time of taking Total Cleanse (I can't remember how long it took) along with a couple of Advil once or twice a day for about 3 days, the immediate gout crisis ended. I very rarely get any flareups at all, even during holiday season with all of the rich food enjoyed in moderation. I recommend this product very highly if you are also willing to make some minor dietary adjustments. Not a lot, but it depends on the elements that are causing gout flareups.

I took it for some time and not sure it this works but it surely does have a lot of Turmeric and I am not sure if that's good for everybody, especially South Asian, because South Asian have it in their foods and the amount of Turmeric is high on each capsule of the Uric Acid by Solaray.

I had forgot about having gout because Solaray Total Cleanse helped a very bad case of gout for me last year. After taking 6 tabs a day for 3 days and then 2 tabs a day for a week after the 3rd day, I had no gout pain. I drink a lot of water and drink tea with lemon daily, but I could still eat what I want steak and spinach. BUT then I went away for 4 days and did not drink my tea, and ate bad because it was a family celebration.so I got out of the habit of not drinking my tea and a lot of water and did this for over a week. I woke up one morning and that ugly red toe looked at me so I know I was in trouble because it was a bad gout attack. Started taking the 6 tabs a day again and started drinking my tea with lemon and a lot of water. This is the second day and I have relief, toe is not as red but foot is still a bit swollen. I have learned my lesson, to start taking this the first sign of a tingle - I had forgotten about that tingle that starts gout. This is a product that works!!!

Llevo unos meses tomandola y por ahor me va bien. No he tenido ataques de gota. Eso si, intento no abusar de los alimentos que la producen.
