Expensive yes. Worth every penny, oh wait soon there won't be any more pennies, dime, yes. These do leave some dust in the bag but I just pour that out into their kibble.I don't feed these exclusive as I have 8 dogs but these patties are great for puppies and for dogs that have to eat something on long hauls to a dog show or camping.(We do both).When traveling I give pieces dry so they are forced to drink more water, not recommended by the manufacturer so understand what you are doing before you just do what I do.My subscription is every two bags every month so you can guess my obsession with my dogs.So far they haven't added a bunch of filler and the protein is still high which I love.Again I don't just feed the Stella's Super Beef Dinner Patties to my dogs but the Super Beef Dinner Patties from Stella and Chewy are the only freeze dried food I feed my dogs.That get kibble from a different company and occasionally a supplement from a third company.If you are thinking of getting a freeze dried food I highly recommend this one.

Nutrition:My dog absolutely loves Stella & Chewy’s! Mealtime has never been easier. The flavor keeps her excited and the ingredients are clean, high-quality, and great for her digestion and energy. I’m on a subscription because it’s become a staple in her routine. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is the packaging: the zipper sometimes doesn’t seal properly, which can be frustrating. This is the absolute highlight for me. My dog, who would often turn their nose up at premium kibble, devours these patties with an enthusiasm I've rarely seen. The rich, natural scent and flavor of the rabbit are clearly irresistible. Mealtime is no longer a battle; it's a joyous event.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose the Surf & Turf Patties because of the clean ingredients, transparency on the label, and rave reviews from other dog parents with picky eaters. Plus, I got it on sale for 40% off!Size:The bag only comes with 14.5 patties, and with a serving size of 4–5 patties for my dog, it doesn’t last long as a standalone meal which is why I removed a star because if it's not on sale it's overpriced. But it’s a great size for using as a topper.Food quality:My dog finishes her meals much faster and has noticeably more energy. The ingredients seem high-quality, and I appreciate the brand’s transparency.Breakability:Super easy to break apart by hand, no tools needed.Texture:Soft and crumbles easily—dissolves well in water, which helps since my dog is picky about texture.Smell:Smells like real, freshly cooked seafood. My dog literally jumps up and down when she hears the bag open.Softness:Perfect for small dogs or picky eaters—easy to chew and gentle on the teeth.

Dog seems to be allergic to chicken, beef, and just about everything but Lamb. This hockey pucks of food are perfect for our miniature dachshund, one per meal breakfast and dinner. No real smell to them, which is nice. His body likes them and so does his taste buds. They are easily broken up into smaller bit size pieces. We add warm water in the morning and pure pumpkin for dinner.

I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who's had skin issues for a number of years (and has been in a cone for much of that time, because she'll bite herself until she bleeds otherwise.) She's now getting up in age, (11), and it is a BIG goal of mine to get her out of that cone (though I think she no longer considers it "the cone of shame," but rather an extension of her ears at this point)! We have tried numerous shampoos and conditioners, allergy testing and changing foods, keeping her away from certain trees and grasses, bathing less often, bathing more often, trips to the vet, more trips to the vet, injections, sprays, lotions, ointments, and much more. The thing that seems to help the most of all is lots of love (!), but a fairly recent change to this food seems to be helping a lot too, to my delight.For the last couple of years, she's had wart-like bumps that were getting bigger and oozing often, forming yucky, hard, blackish crusts. After doing (yet more) research, I decided to cut out an allergy food from the vet that she loved and we were using in little bits to add flavor to her regular food, and to try sprinkling a little of this on her regular food (Taste of the Wild Dry Dog Food, Pacific Stream Canine Formula with Smoked Salmon), instead. She's a picky eater, and just ignores the Taste of the Wild food until she starts eating grass (and gets sick), if it's left plain. The Stella and Chewy's dried dog food comes in nice little patties that break apart easily, for the most part, and are easily sprinkled on her kibble in her bowl, with one hand. Now, she gobbles her food down, and skips the grass altogether.With the Stella and Chewy's chicken flavor, (minus the vet's food), she improved a little. With the Duck Duck Goose flavor, she improved a lot! Her bumps got smaller and lost their crust and ooze, and yeast infections got better both in her ears and on the skin. She's much less itchy and seems happier over all. -- At first, not realizing the flavor had anything to do with our progress, I went back to the chicken. Now, I am convinced that for my sensitive dog, DUCK DUCK GOOSE is THE WAY TO GO. (Besides that... who can resist the name? =]...)My groomer recommended this, and the idea is to work up to serving it alone. It's a little spendy for that, but if she keeps getting better I may well try. If you do add this to your dog's regular food BE SURE to reduce the amount you usually give her. This is a concentrated food, and my pup gained weight very fast at first, before I cut down her portion of kibble.My sympathies and best wishes to all of you out there who are suffering along with your pups! I hope this helps!

Elle ne dévore pas son bol, mais elle mange à sa faim! Les ingrédients sont bons pour elle. Seul point négatif, c’est fabriqué aux États-Unis. Je recommande cette nourriture!
Great food for sensitive stomachs
The only thing I didn't like was the price but the dog food has suited my dog with a sensitive stomach better than anything else. I have tried many types including the Farmer's Dog which is real food and this is the best by far.
Disappointed with current batch
My dog used to love and go nuts whenever her meal time. She has several allergies and is currently on a food trial. She did great with this rabbit protein. She scratching reduced by more than 50% after 3 weeks.However, this new packet that I received smells totally different from previous batch!! My dog refused to eat!!

My dogs loved these! You can give them as they are or by adding water, mine preferred them 'as is' as they always have plenty of fresh drinking water available.Highly nutritious and a complete diet. Great product!
