The coupler seems like it will work fine, and seems solidly built. It comes with a retained locking pin, which is a nice extra. It does not come with a Nyloc nut. Every one of these I have seen including the broken one I had has one. I don't see how the regular nut might not vibrate loose over time. It is probably an unlikely scenario, but that could be life or death or it does. I just reused my old nut until I can pick up a new one.

This is junk. will not tighten down on the ball. I had to use existing plate to make it work. For what it cost to return, it isn't worth it. Bolo returns are not free like they claim.

If your application is for a Kendon motorcycle trailer this will not fit ,plus the amount of metal that makes up the bottom clasp is 30% thinner so I didn`t trust it to work anyway.
