Five star product. It's a soothing gel with a nice masculine scent, perfect for keeping my face intact after the assault of the razor.----------------(future edit break; cut here with scissors)-----------------------------------------------------------------------------And the price has finally changed to one that I feel is the proper value for the product in question. Yes, I completely understand the laws of economics such as supply and demand, and the fact that this product is imported from England, so the price of it now is justified in my mind. Considering that I can go buy a mass-market aftershave balm from any drugstore for around $5, the current price of $18 is worth it for a product that does the job with a pleasant scent. However for your entertainment, I have left the original review I composed intact below. So as long as you followed directions and cut with scissors, you can just keep this part if you like. Just peel it back off your screen. I have added another line so you can just keep the positive review. If you don't like any other part of it just use white out to cover it up. No, I don't think you're stupid or a blonde as the joke says, I just think it's best to keep a sense of humor, however odd it may be, when dealing with commerce. So as long as the price remains in the $18-$20 realm, I'll continue to use it. If it returns to a higher price I'll just wait it out instead of posting weird reviews about it. But the important part is that it leaves my skin feeling like a sharp blade was not just scraped across it, and causes my face to just be there instead of feeling like it's being sanded away with acid.-----------------------(cut here with scissors)----------------------(original review below)---------------------------(cut here with scissors)------------------However, the price is now almost triple what I paid, (roughly $18 in fall of 2014) an increase similar to what I've noticed among some other products at Bolo. So unfortunately for the seller, I must subtract, without hyperbole, at least fifteen stars. Since no such rating exists, a one star rating must suffice.Wonderful product, I just suggest searching for it outside of Bolo. The fact is, when prices are up for any reason, I will simply stop purchasing things I want. I could care less. If the price is good and the incentive is there, I'll purchase. If a transaction doesn't meet my standards, I'll simply not make the purchase. My loss? Sorry, I'm not that attached to material goods. I'm fine with companies increasing their profit margin, as long as it's within my scope of reason. Otherwise, I'll just find something else.Good luck in the marketplace, online sellers. I am very pleased with this aftershave gel. The smell is wonderful and it is very soothing after my shave, with no burning alcohol feel.Originally I thought the price was a bit steep for aftershave, but discovered a little bit goes a long way. I only have to use a little bit more than a pea size drop to cover my face and neck. It's well worth the cost.

I have been using this stuff for about five years now, each tube lasts me around a year since you only need a little dab to spread over your whole lower face/neck. The scent is solid without being overpowering like some of the cheaper options. This is one item that I would buy time and again due to the long lasting moisturization and great classic scent. The only thing I would remind people of is this must be kept under 100 degrees, if it gets too hot it will liquify and will not reconstitute. (I lost a tube to this problem a couple of summers ago)

I have tried (re-)ordering this product twice this year and chose this version in large part based on it being alcohol free as shown in the Bolo listing.Both times I've had to return the item because WHAT I RECEIVED WAS NOT ALCOHOL FREE.There's NO EXCUSE for false representation in the listing of the product that they are delivering. It is simply NOT “as advertised”.TLDR explanation:The Bolo listing clearly shows pictures of the item’s packaging labeled “Alcohol Free” AND an ingredients list with only 12 total ingredients in quotes [i.e. implying a complete list] and none of those are alcohol. There is no AF labeling on the product I received and alcohol is clearly listed as one of the *25* total ingredients on the packaging I received [see pics].As mentioned, I've bought the AF version of this product before – several times over many years in fact – and that product would get a 5-star rating from me, hence my repeated attempts to buy it again.MAYBE the AF version isn't available either temporarily or permanently. I wish I knew and I'll look into it BUT the listing does say “No” under the header “Is Discontinued By Manufacturer” from which I infer that the product as shown and described in the listing is still being produced…?Regardless, there's NO EXCUSE for false representation of the product that they are delivering which is NOT “as advertised”.Disappointing, to say the least.

A mi marido le encanta este gel que usa después del afeitado con una crema de jabón para maquinilla tradicional (según él, "la mejor crema del mundo"). Lleva muchos años usándola. Tiene una barba cerrada pero piel delicada, que se irrita con facilidad. El gel deja la piel suave, sin brillos y, aunque a él los aromas no le importan mucho, a mí me encanta este de sándalo.
