Flushed my coolant in my 2019 Kawasaki Vulcan S and swapped it with this, so far engine temps are noticeably lower and engine runs great.IF YOU FLUSH YOUR COOLANT, DO IT RIGHT. Get at least 1 gallon of distilled water. Drain your coolant system from the lowest point (usually water pump) then fill it completely with the distilled water and drain it again. Empty/flush the overflow reservoir until clear, refill the system, then run the engine for 20-30 seconds and flush the system again. If your capacity is 2 full quarts, you should be good to go after using the entire gallon of distilled water. Make sure you get on the bike and lean it left and right repeatedly while the drain plug is removed to drain out any clinging water.Fill your reservoir with coolant to the fill line, then SLOWLY start filling your radiator. Most bikes the radiator cap is the highest point in the loop while on the kickstand. I repeat, WHILE. ON. THE. KICKSTAND. Do not fill the system with the bike upright, you WILL trap air. Once full put the cap on and lean the bike left and right a bunch of times. Squeeze all radiator hoses slowly and repeatedly to free up any trapped air. Place back on kickstand, take cap off, and refill- you will have freed up some air. Repeat until the radiator is completely full when removing the cap. Tighten all bolts, fittings, etc. After you check and it's still completely full, now comes the hardest part. Patience. You need to run the bike for 5-10 minutes, maybe 15-20 depending on the temperature outside. You need to run the engine until the fan kicks on 2-3 times and let it run fully. After it's done that, shut it off and WAIT. Do not even think about touching that bike until the engine is COMPLETELY cool. Minimum 2-3 hours (again, depending on outside temps)Once the bike is COMPLETLEY cool, if you remove the radiator cap and there is still absolutely no space to add more coolant, you are all done. If there is space, add coolant. Check the coolant level after a few rides to be sure all the trapped air has been freed up. Again- ONLY WHEN COMPLETLEY COOL.

Nothing else lasts as long or performs as well for the price point. Great for dirt bikes but can also be used in motorcycles, RV’s, cars/trucks, etc. One jug for a dirt bike will last a long time!

5.0 out of 5 stars The real deal! And it works just as good as ever.

I've used Engine Ice for a few years in my sportbike, and it consistently performs very well. FakeSpot marks this with a low rating for some reason, but this stuff is the real deal and works just as good as ever! It may be expensive, but it's well worth the money.NOTE: DO NOT USE WATER WETTER WITH THIS! Water Wetter reacts poorly with some coolants, and that was the case for me. I had to flush about a gallon of vinegar and 8 gallons of water through my cooling system to get rid of all the black crud. This is a known problem that the Water Wetter people are aware of, and it may give un-suspecting people a heart attack if they see what almost looks like oil in their coolant.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Motorcycle Has Not Blown Up Yet

    T.V. · November 26, 2023

I've used Engine Ice in my Triumph Trophy since the first coolant change. 45K miles and counting and my bike has not blown up, or even overheated. I often do a partial body-on coolant change each fall if I'm not due for any other service that requires tupperware removal and am confident that this works well.

My bike would go as high as 228F just sitting at a red light. I'm not sure if it was because my old coolant was at the end of it's life or what but my bike hasn't gone above 210 since I flushed my radiator with 50/50 distilled water/distilled vinegar, and replaced it with engine ice. Also, I heard another brand (WW) has silicates in it and can gunk up your radiator, so I'm avoiding it at all costs. I just wish I could buy smaller bottles to top off. I'm assuming this stuff will keep for years if stored in the fridge away from moisture.

2016 Yamaha r1. Around 77°f I was averaging 176 on the temp gauge and after using this, it’s pretty steady at 168 now. Even helps a lot when stationary which is why I got it. Fans kick on at 220, reaches 226 and starts dropping. Before I used ice, I would see 230 and even 240 at times when not moving. MAKE SURE YOU FLUSH YOUR OLD COOLANT. THIS WILL MAKE JELLY IF YOU MIX IT WITH OTHER KINDS OF COOLANT AND MAKE YOUR VEHICLE A BRICK IF YOU DO NOT FLUSH SYSTEM.
