Bruder's jcb midi CX backhoe loader is like the real thing! it combines three tools in one: a mini Digger, a compact tractor and a compact wheel loader. It features a swiveling driver's seat that allows for operation of the backhoe. The front loading arm carries a grip for steering and a locking mechanism in the upper position. The front loading shovel locks into two positions for loading and unloading. The backhoe has fold-down support legs which is also detachable. The front loader and backhoe loader scoops are both changeable.

This JCB MIDI CX Backhoe Loader is made just like the real thing. The frontloading arm has a grip for steering and a locking mechanism in the upper position. The frontloading shovel has 2 positions for loading and unloading. The driver’s seat swivels to allow for the operation of the backhoe. The backhoe has fold-down support legs and is also detachable. The backhoe loading arm is able to excavate below ground level and the scoop steering can be operated using one hand. The front loader and backhoe loader scoops are both changeable. The standard tractor coupling, which is included, can be mounted when the backhoe loading unit has been removed; this allows all trailers and farming equipment available to be used. The soft rubber tires have real treads.

I don't think this toy is rated for 2 year olds, so keep an eye on any toddlers that have access to this thing.. but ours LOVES this toy.Every little visitor to our home can't take their eyes off of it, either.We have a small excavator, a skid steer, and some workers to ride in them.. all from this company.Again, this item is kind of delicate- but hasn't broken yet- and may introduce choking hazards, and certainly introduces pinch points.. but it is a fantastic toy for the supervised child.Bonus points- if your kid approaches any kind of heavy equipment operator while holding his beloved back hoe, it kinda guarantees that they'll be sitting up in that real construction vehicle if there is a chance- those folks love a lil fan.

We have TEN Bruder construction toys so this review is going to show up in all ten places. These are all very well made with extreme attention to detail. They are made of plastic and of course could be broken but they have a smart design and are reasonably durable. The mirrors on the Mack dump truck are probably the weakest item, but if they were to break off the truck would be otherwise functional. Toys break.We have the cement truck, skid steer loader, log truck, mack truck, tractor trailer with bulldozer, backhoe, two different types of excavators, an articulating front end loader, fire engine, and something called a tele-extender.These all have so much intriguing detail that the kids are immediately drawn to them. They all have moving parts that allow them to perform their real world functions. There are detents built in to hold position, so for example with the bulldozer, backhoe and front loader, the blades can be fixed and held in several different positions.As far as toys go, these are expensive but even a three year old understands from the detail that these are different that the coarser, simpler $20 equivalents. These clearly look like the "real" things.We've all had a lot of fun with these.

My godson loves heavy equipment and a backhoe not a Escavator. He’s 3 and informed me a backhoe has diggers on both ends and a Escavator only has one. This was the only backhoe I could find and he absolutely loves it. Made of durable medal too.

This is our first Bruder toy and we're delighted. In the hands of our almost-three-year-old, it has become an instant favorite. He plays with it constantly and wants to carry it everywhere, this in a sea of other tractors, bulldozers, and backhoes.The detail level is great - enough to keep his interest with all the functional parts and motion variations. It's proven to be very durable. He operates all the functions and everything works well with no hint of strength issues. The cab roof and engine cover are metal. All the other parts are plastic, with soft plastic tires.It cleans up easily, so he digs in sand and dirt outside, then can bring it in for a quick rinse and can run around the house with it, too.The catalog that came with the unit is also seeing heavy use and I expect we'll be picking up more Bruder toys before long. This one is terrific. I only wish their entire line was easier to find in the US!

Very pleased with this purchase. My son is not hard on toys, so this is holding up well with him. His cousins are a bit rougher and so far, it’s held up against them as well. The kids took it to the sand and the sand came out pretty easily and didn’t seem to cause issues with the mechanics of the backhoe. For a boy who loves construction equipment, this was a great choice. The size is perfect for them to push around, but not too big that they try to ride on it. Will be purchasing from this company again!

This is a fantastic toy. My 2.5 year old son has many construction toys, but none this detailed. The level of detail is really quite remarkable... and should be considering the very high price. The backhoe can be separated from the front loader and my son loves that. He will take the backhoe arm off and use it as a front loader for a few days then want the backhoe arm back on so he can excavate a new construction dig.I was initially concerned that the toy was going to break easily after reading some of the negative reviews.... he plays pretty good with it in sand and mulch for the past several months and it hasn't broken yet. It's one of the few toys he plays with pretty much every single day and he will ask for it pretty much all the time.This won't be my last Bruder toy purchase, I'm quite impressed!

My 2.5 year old saw this on a YouTube show and just had to have it. So Bolo Santa had to deliver. I thought it was a little pricey but once it got here I know it will last and is extremely well made. I will be looking into more of Bruders toys. I love that it wheels nice and the backhoe part operates as a real one would and you can feel the difference in the plastic. It’s not cheap. And I love that it is quiet and there’s no obnoxious sounds blaring out of a speaker. My son was SO excited for this toy. Thanks Bruder!

I am super impressed with this brand. What started off as a simple birthday gift by office friends translated into an expensive hobby for me. Make and material is rocking. This brand is German, so no doubt about the quality. It should be a benchmark for other brands. The excavation arm and scoop are movable. The color is bright and glossy and makes the equipment look really awesome. To get a feel of the size, check the picture of this beast that I have uploaded. I have compared it with 2 Lamborghini toy cars that I have. The yellow one is 1:32 scale and Blue/White is 1:24 scale.Got it in the Diwali sale for 1349 Rs. I think just 1% sold which I'm sure must be me. Expensive but totally worth every rupee that I spent. Bolo and Bruder rock!
