I purchased these to be used in our Concession Stand. They are exactly as described and all arrived perfectly. I put them in last night and tested them against one we had that we knew worked and they were drectly on point with that one. They are lightweight but are sturdy in construction. These will fit perfectly in our pop coolers and ice cream freezers. For the price we feel we got a great purchase. If we need more these will be our go to thermometer.

Country of Origin listed USA and I was willing to pay a premium for it. But product arrived and is marked made in China. Quality seems fine, but nothing special. Had I known, I would have bought one of the other made in China thermometers for half the price.

Perfect. Went back to old school because the digital ones were not holding up in the camper. Fits nice and snug on the wire racks in the fridge, easy to read and accurate.

One of these came in a beverage cooler I purchased. It indicated that the cooler had stabilized at an internal temperature of about 34*F. However, a digital meat thermometer, digital ambient thermometer/hygrometer, and a digital thermocouple all indicated nearly 10* F higher readings +/- 2*.I confirmed the inaccuracy of the Cooper thermometer after measuring the temperature of a glass of water placed in the refrigerator for 24 hours - 45.4* F, while the Cooper still read 34* F.In addition, the curved glass makes viewing from any angle other than dead-on from the front highly inaccurate as well. The distortion can make the indicator level appear to be several degrees left or right of the actual spot in the glass.

I ordered three and the temperatures are consistent with each other as I switch from my two refrigerators and chest freezer to test their consistency. I like that they are small and I can clip them on. I had many choices and am glad I chose these.

Update:After not even a week, this thermometer fell apart (literally). The backing separated from the clear cover, and the glue holding the thermometer to the backing broke free. This is a serious disappointment considering the points in my initial review below. I seriously hope the folks at Cooper-Atkins find a way to remedy this design to prevent this from occurring, as it has great potential.Original Review:Great size, easily readable, and accurate within 0.5°. I can see how some people may have an issue with mounting it, but that wasn't a factor for me. It excells at what I need it for: Accurately, and easily, displaying temperature.
Mine didn't work
My freezer temperature showed just right where it was supposed to be, right around zero F (minus 20 C). Except that it never changed afterwards sitting on my kitchen counter for a day.
Good for home use
Good product for home use. I'd wish if they had a bit better design for the clip whereby it can be fixed inside the fridge more easily.
