I have been using this stuff for several months and it is a good product. After reading all the negative reviews I have to provide some input that might help others. I used to sell insecticides. This product's is pyrethrin based. Pyrethrins do not have any residual killing capability. Once the initial fog lays and dries out there is almost no killing effect from the spray. Most of these types of household bug killers will have some form of permectrin based ingredient. These permectrin based sprays have a residual effect and can kill for several weeks if the bug comes in contact with the residue. Look for Permethrin, tetramethrin, deltamethrin and Lamda Cyathlon if you want long term killing. If you just want to kill the bug that is in your kitchen and not worry about residue this is your spray. I have always liked these sprays that have only pyrethrins in them because they are safer.The big thing I see here is that people must think the bug will die instantly if they are sprayed by this stuff. Unfortunately bugs take several minutes to die if they are sprayed by a pyrethrin product. They generally start wiggling and walking around fast and then finally after several minutes they will die. Roaches will take a while but it will kill roaches. Just don't expect the bug to die instantly upon contact.There are not very many products on the market now that are striclty pyrethrin. Check your labels and you can develop a solid understanding of these products. Study the active ingredients. I hope this helps.Bman

What started with leaving bananas out turned into an infestation from hell and now every little thing just creates more and more and more, and I can't get rid of them. Before throwing in the towel, put my house on the market and move away from Texas to a colder climate just to get away from them I decided to try this spray.It took 3 days for me to empty out this bottle. Still, these things persisted. The struggle is you have to get them right on contact. You can't expect to spray this into the air or around windows and counter tops where they are not, wait for them to show up and expect them to just drop dead. You literally have to soak them, drench them, drown them with this stuff for it to actually work. I had to stake out their location where they are clustered around and spray as fast and as much as I could as quick as possible because they will fly away, and this stuff won't stop them once they've gotten away. Yes, several died right where they stood only because they got soaked with this stuff and couldn't get up. I mean, I've used hairspray and it worked in much the same way. I just don't know which is safer to spray all over my family home. Still doesn't stop the ones that are freely swarming around the house, waiting to get into my drinks and food. I've sprayed in the air, on myself (I was desperate), all over everything....and new ones are here to face me the following day it seemsThis spray does work if you have a small infestation and if you can locate the clusters and have quick spraying skills. The smell is not bad. It's definitely strong but it's way more pleasant than most bug killing sprays. It does linger though but the smell is the least of my worries. I hope this spray is safe as it states because this stuff is all over my house. It ABSOLUTELY DOES WORKS ON EVERY OTHER BUG so that's a plus. The gnats....well, I have noticed a significant decrease in them, but it takes time. patience, persistence, and maybe more than one bottle sometimes.

Used this for years. If I COULD GIVE IT A 10, i would. So very safe to spray in a pantry or elsewhere in the kitchen for ants. Spray to kill existing ants and don't wipe off--will continue to kill any new following ants. Can safely put food back on the shelves. Also works great for flying ants which we get every May. I sprayed the kitchen widows to kill the ones already coming in and left it on the windows . It continued to kill new ones as they came in. THEN when the "season" was over towards the end of the month, I wash it off the windows--dirty windows--small price to pay for not having the infestation. Gave a can to my neighbor to try for the first time and she had equal success.

I used this product to contain the annual outbreak of gnats in Vegas that visit my home - once they get inside and into potting soil, it can get out of control quickly.This product was bought as a somewhat safer alternative to stronger products available. Since I was only attempting to control these small pests, I figured it was the "Right size" for the job.It did kill most of the pests, but took an extraordinary amount of spray to do so. My expectation was to see instant kill - much like a wasp/hornet spray for such a small bug. However, bug continued to fly around in the mist and crawl around before succumbing to the poison. The kill percentage, if I were to guess, was about 90%.The odor aired out quickly and there was no heavy residue. I should have bought two cans for the job.
