5.0 out of 5 stars Fun take on go-fish with cool colors
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } This is a fun take on the classic go-fish but with cool colors such as cafe au lait, indigo, chartreuse, etc. We played this from as young a three years to as old as six years. We loved this version so much that we also gave it as a gift to other friends with young children. The card stock is thick, making the cards fairly durable. And they are cut out in the shape of a fish, so that makes it even more enjoyable.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect!
Bought this set as we thought trying to teach my niece the game with colors might be easier than numbers. (She was turning two when she received it and could identify most colors by their basic name.) She has loved it and enjoys challenging her grandparents to a game of cards. We used basic color names such as dark blue and light blue at first but about a year in she asked what the word was on the card and has loved using the color names on the cards. Her attitude and joy at calling it tangerine instead is hilarious. Highly recommend. Purchased the triangle plastic card holders at the same time and they have been a huge help. Set also makes a cute template to trace around when she wants to color some fish.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very cute and different go fish
The cards are shaped as fish, which are very cute and I do like the cards because instead of numbers like most cards would have. These cards have colors, so kids learn their colors. Some of the colors are fuchsia, eggplant unfortunately, I don’t remember the rest of the colors and the game is at my granddaughters house. She’s almost 5 and she enjoys playing and she likes to colors
5.0 out of 5 stars Best go fish game!
We've had this deck since 2015 and I am actually looking to buy a new one as my cards are finally starting to fall apart. This is after 7 years of loved use. In 2015 I had been looking for a deck that had fish shaped cards and was happy to find these! I was a little worried about the colors being confusing for my kids (I have 4), but they weren't!! It took a few times of playing to start to get the words down but the littles pick it up pretty fast. It is refreshing to have unique color names and the tones of the colors are super fun and bright! It's extremely entertaining when playing with someone new, like grandma or papa, and they ask my then 3 year old if she had any bright green and she corrects them by saying, "do you mean chartreuse?" 😆

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic card game for my 2 and 5 year olds!
This game is perfect for my young family. We got it as a gift for Christmas and the kids love it!! Eeboo has such great quality products. The cards are sturdy enough for my 2 and 1/2 year old to play with -- with minimal damage to the cards. No dog-eared cards yet which is pretty impressive after 3 months of play (although my kids are pretty gentle in general, but still really sturdy cards). The colors are great -- bright and cheerful. We finally have a game that all of us can play. My 5 year old loves it and asks for it every night before bed. The 2 and 1/2 year old stays engaged longer with this game than any we have come across so far. She is learning her colors which makes this one fun. Although chartreuse is a tough one for her to remember let alone say. ;) We just go with green. This has become a staple for birthday gifts we give. I highly recommend it. Have fun playing.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great game but odd colors
I got this for my 3-year-old grandson to help him learn his colors. The cards are cute, fish-shaped and easy for young hands to grasp. The paper is of very good quality and the matte finish means the cards aren’t too slippery. However, instead of being in primary colors, the cards are odd shades. For instance, the red is really a red orange, the green is a blue green and there are chartreuse, lavender, and turquoise cards in addition to eggplant (purple), indigo (dark blue), and apricot (light orange). It just seems to me that straightforward primary colors would have made more sense since this game is for very young children. That being said, however, my grandson loves the game and can now identify chartreuse! 🤦♀️

One of the best Go-Fish games out there! The colors are super fun and it is the best when your kids try to say the names. Great for any age really. The cards are the perfect size and it is easy to read the colors.
Great purchase
