This deal has me blown away. I got a 97 F250HD which seems to have been parked in a field for a few years. I removed the back fuel tank which wasn't making fuel pressure, and tried patching some rust holes twice after cleaning the metal. I expected a new tank shipped here to Alaska would be stupid expensive, but then I found this tank, shipped to Kodiak for $92. Sold! This tank comes pre painted or primed in grey, so would probably outlast a factory tank. I'm adding another layer or two of white rust protective paint before I install it, but I'm looking forward to not having leaking gas again, and already have a new pump to install in this tank. So happy I found and bought this tank, and that my Bolo Prime membership helps keep shipping cost free. I already have a friend asking for me to get him one for his truck, so I'll probably be ordering again!

This fit perfect in my 1996 F-150! This was an easy fix. Remove the 6 bolts in the bed. Unplug the lights under the center of the rear bumper. Remove the two clamps holding the fill necks. Remove 6 screws holding the fuel necks. Two grown men to set the bed off. Unhook two fuel lines. Pull out the old pump. Remove all fuel from the tank. Drop the two bottom straps and out comes the tank. Install the new tank and I recommend a new fuel pump. Follow the directions and reinstall. Estimated time is 40 minutes. (15 minutes to remove the fuel included in the 40 minutes.

Perfect fit for my '92 f150
Fast delivery and good quality product. The retainer and gasket fit perfect.ly. It comes primed. I painted and coated it with asphalt undercoating for extra protection. The only issue was a small amount of denting from shipping. It was minor otherwise I would've sent it back. There wasn't any protection in the box it came in and the courier driver dropped it hard on the ground when he was unloading it from his truck. Of course, he didn't seem to care how he handled it. Keep that in mind. You may have to return it for a new one. Otherwise. it's great.
Great tank, minor dents but worth the price
Tank arrived today, havn't installed it yet but I'm impressed. Local parts store wanted almost twice the price for a tank with no coating on it. This one's primered and ready for paint. Other reviews said that their tanks came dented, mine had a couple small dents but for half the price I'm perfectly okay with that. Looks well made and even comes with a new fuel pump lock ring. Would highly recommend.
Good bang for buck
Fits but like the OEM requires wiggling. I had box off and put in from top. Important to have one end of brackets in place and 5 inch long back bolts ready to hold at an angle while wiggling into place.

The price is great on this tank $122 canadian. I was kinda worried because alot of the reviews about the damage done from shipping. I got pretty lucky I guess there was a couple little dime size dents, no biggie. I don't know why they don't bubble wrap the tank before boxing it? There's no wrap what so ever . It's just in a cardboard box. All the bad reviews were because of damage. This issue could be solved very easy but I was one of the lucky ones. I'm very happy I took the chance on this tank. It does come painted but it's not black like the picture it's a gray color. No big deal to me what color it is, can't see it under the truck. Lock rings are included too. I would recommend this tank. 👍👊💪.
