Really nice shampoo. I like the smell too. It smells "fresh". I decided to change from my usual brand to this (identified on the EWG database) because I was shedding loads of hair, and my scalp felt sensitive and sometimes itchy. This shampoo helped alleviate this after two washes and at first glance I think I am shedding less hair. Will need more time to assess this better.

My child has been genetically "gifted" with his fathers seborrheic dermatitis on his scalp. We are a "clean" family and I usually craft our own shampoo. However, it became a bit time consuming crafting several shampoos every month. I ordered this understanding the basis of the ingredients~This hit all the marks. My teen loves this shampoo, I do as well. He has stopped scratching his scalp at the end of the day. He can even skip the blow drying without any risk of inflammation throughout the day.

Reason for only 4 stars? There was no packaging, the bottles were rolling around the box and one top was very loose, and some of the product leaked out all over the other bottles!I love, love, love the product! I have been using it for years. I used to get shots in my scalp bcs my scalp would itch to the point that I would scratch, and it would weep and crusty. My dermatologist would give me shots all over my scalp and it would calm down. I went "totally organic" with everything all the way down to dental floss and pantiliners, only non gmo food, grass fed meat and wild caught fish/seafood.I no longer need shots in my scalp! I have been itch free for about 15 yrs. I highly recommend this product.

I originally bought this product at Whole Foods on a whim.I have fine, very oily hair + scalp and have always had an issue with hair loss.This shampoo does not seem to foam up as easily as other shampoos but it makes up for it by making my scalp and hair less oily.I have also noticed a huge decrease in hair falling out, which makes me very happy because I would find a massive clump of hair in my hair catcher at the end of each shower.The smell is also mild and pleasant, nothing to harsh.This also makes my hair soft BUT I noticed that after several weeks of using, sections of my hair started to dry out.Since I have fine, oily hair I can't use conditioner but I have found that using rinse-out treatment on the ends of my hair fixes this problem.All in all, a great product that minimizes hair loss and hair oiliness.

The only good thing I have to say about this is that it cleaned my hair. It made my scalp extremely dry and itchy. Just shampooing with this made my hair fall out so much and since washing my hair, it’s continued to fall out. I didn’t have this problem before using the product. It also arrived loose with shampoo all over it. I can’t even return it with their return policy so it’s going in the trash.

Am surprised how much I like this shampoo. Smells very nice. It's not the easiest to use as it doesn't foam much so you have to use a good amount and take time to massage it in . However it works really well with my drug store conditioner and my hair is super smooth and soft after. Will definitely repurchase.
