This compressor has worked prefect. I waited to review compressor to make sure. It is a great purchase works just great, it the hot southeast. Would buy this compressor again.

Bought new instead of rebuild but less than a year later it's kaput and to add insult to injury the company just says the warranty is only good through Bolo... In other words I'm simply out the money. Probably alright since it didn't work well anyway. Avoid Denso!

Put this on a truck that I drive less that 200 miles a year. Noticed smoke coming out of the engine compartment and realized the AC clutch had gone bad. Luckily the system maintained it’s charge and the damage seemed to be external. Still cost me ne Freon, Orfice tube, and a replacement compressor. Pretty disappointed as it probably had 6-7 hours of run time on it.

This compressor is a direct replacement for the factory unit that came on my Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 L Cummins pickup. Bear in mind that the o-rings on the manifold cap that comes on the new compressor will not work with your line manifold when installing the new compressor. You'll need to go to the parts store and buy a gasket kit that includes new sealing washers for A/C systems. An A/C system gasket kit for my truck cost $10 at NAPA.

Purchased to replace the failing factory compressor. This product fit very well and I have had no issues since the install. One thing worth noting is that the factory compressor held 2oz more oil than this one. You must take this into account, otherwise the a/c system may have too much oil put into it and will cause issues.
