We used to make pancakes a couple of times of month. We're busy people and found that using a mix, such a Bisquick was just beoming too time consuming. I admit I was skeptical when ordering this item. We received it about three weeks ago and since then I've made pancakes for me and my wife three or four times. For two people, this product is an ideal size too. We get four or five good sized pancakes and then the container is ready for rinsing and recycling.No doubt this is not the most economical way of making pancakes but when one takes into considerations that there's virtually no waste, no mess, and the finished product are a batch of really good buttermilk pancakes, I see very little to complain about.The instructions are easy to understand (just add 2/3 cup of water and vigorously shake for 30 seconds). Then pour onto a hot greased skillet (I like to use cast iron) and voila!. Furthermore, as soon as I pull the pancakes out of the pan and onto the plate, because my cast iron pan is well seasoned, frying up some eggs to go with them is easy breezy and the eggs never break; again, that's because my cast iron skillet is very well seasoned which makes a huge difference.Clean up is a breeze too, which is just another plus. I love this stuff. This is one of the times when I"d like to have more than 5 stars. It makes good pancakes in the first place, and it's extremely convenient. No need to have milk or eggs in the house, which I never do. Keeps indefinitely till you add water. So, when you want some pancakes, you just add water up to the line, shake it up, and you're ready to go. You can jazz it up if you want; you can put yogurt in it, fruit, chocolate chips, jalapenos, whatever.It comes in a larger size too, which might make sense if you have a big family, and I used to use those till I discovered this size; it'll keep in the fridge for a few days. However, this is extremely convenient. You can probably make breakfast for four out of one bottle, or if not, just use a second one. I get 2 or 3 breakfasts (just for me) out of a bottle. Can't always find this size in stores, so what I do is order a case of 12 from Bolo, and that's at least a couple months' supply. I always have pancakes a few seconds away, either if I get the urge or if there's nothing else handy for breakfast.

Who doesn't love pancakes?!? This is such a great idea and very handy as well. No measuring, no mess, and no fuss pancakes in a jiffy!! It's so very easy a child could mix it.The bottle suggests that you make 4 inch pancakes, but I'm a rebel and prefer to make extra large 8 inch pancakes. I have found that doing it my way I get a single perfect 8 inch pancake out of one bottle. My wife can get about 6 smaller pancakes out of the bottle. Either way this makes great tasting, light fluffy pancakes.I'd even wager that you could use this in a waffle maker and get great results as well. I love that you don't need milk or eggs to make these pancakes. We have a daughter that is allergic to eggs so for her this is the ideal pancake mix.So, if you're a person who loves convenience or is always in a rush this product fits the bill. Fast, Easy and Convenient! Once you try it you'll never buy any other mix.

This mix is decent, it isn't anything to rave about. It tastes OK and makes nice fluffy pancakes. I prefer other brands or to make my own with various recipes online. The thing I love about this product is the container. I actually reuse the containers to pre-make my own pancake mix in bulk. With this pack of 12 I can easily make enough mix for a few weeks since I typically make pancakes each weekend morning. I love this product and highly suggest it even if you are only using it for the containers.

This product has less sugar than the microwave variety and is ideal for me and my 3-yr old grandson. :)The pancakes are tasty and he loves to "shake, shake, shake" the bottle while I fire up the skillet and spray the PAM.There were 2 reasons that I took a star away and awarded 4 stars for this product.1. It takes more than 2/3 cup of water to make the product reasonably pourable. I put 2/3 cup in at first and then had to add a little less than 1/4 cup to make the batter pourable (all in all, less than 1 full cup).2. If you don't use it all and refrigerate a portion of it, even for 1 day, more water must be added because it will be too thick to pour.

Where has this product been all of my life. I ordered these when they were on sale as a subscribe & save, and am so glad I did. We make waffles every Saturday, and I struggle with having to make up the batter (which is ALWAYS too much or too little). It leaves a terrible mess as well!I did not fully read the description, so I was surprised when the box was so light. Of course, it is just the dry ingredients in the bottle. You add water, shake, and it is ready to go! I got 5 waffles from the mix was the perfect amount for our family!Love this product and will be ordering again!

I'm not a big pancake person, so we use this for Waffles. I recently got a new waffle maker (got it as a gold deal here), and using the Belgian Wafflemaker, this will make 2 waffles. These are pretty decent size waffles, too, quite large. Perfect for me and my son only. If we had guests, we would have to use another bottle.It is easy. You pour 2/3 cup water into it, shake it well, and you are done.It's not like homemade batter. Only homemade batter is like homemade batter. But for those who have difficulties cooking, or health difficulties where they are looking for convenience, this fits the bill completely :)
