They are huge on him, but it doesn't matter, he loves to put them on and run around. When they first arrived, I thought they looked rather flimsy. However, it's been 6 months of daily use and each of them has gone through the washer at least a couple of times and they are still holding up. Recently I found small holes in the top of the superman cape, but kids don't care as long as they can keep using them and pretending with them.My husband and I will also put the tops on to play with out son (we are usually Robin to his Batman). I like that they're not actual shirts or costumes so they're easy to fit on almost any size. We even put the Robin top on our Australian Shepherd for a photo op (a quick one since the dog hated having it on), but hey, it fit!Note of caution: Since my son is so young, I do not let him sleep with the top on (I have a paranoia about accidental strangulation) and I also don't let him play with it outside because I try to keep the machine washing to a minimal.

I bought this for a friend's 3 year old boy, as a birthday gift. The tunics remind me of a kids school basketball jersey tunic material, a little thin, but that did not phase the kids. Both the 3 and 4 year old brothers put them on as soon as they opened them and wore them the rest of the evening, at a restaurant even, and all the patrons around us kept talking about how adorable they were in them. They are easy for the little ones to put on and off themselves - lightweight and not hot. The masks and accessories are fantastic and really complete the set. I will say, the Robin costume is my favorite, it was sooo darn cute on the kids, but my 6 year old daughter looked pretty darn cute as "batgirl" too in the Batman one. Overall, LOVE this item and will definitely be giving it to others. Great deal for a 3 costume set.

This set of costumes is PERFECT for a lil superhero! My 4 year old son is in love with them! The fun value is astronomical and makes the price, priceless. I got the set from the warehouse of Bolo and it came in 2 days.The fabric is thin and breathable, perfect for the southern heat. And my son has been running around in one of the costumes since they arrived. You tie on the cape at the belly with the torso attached, which is fabulous and keeps from having anything choking them around the throat. Size wise I'd rate this ages 3-5 depending on how big your kid is. My son is 40 inches tall and 38 lbs and it fits him perfectly. If he was much bigger I don't think the chest part of the costume would totally cover him.For what I paid and how much he LOVES this kind of stuff, there are no words for how great this product is. If you have a lil guy or gal who just loves superheroes, this is a great set for imagination. It teaches them to "save" things. My son has rescued the cat from the backyard swing eight times already - the cat is not amused but I am!If you're expecting expensive, high quality fabric - this isn't the set for you. It's just light, thin, fun fabric meant to be worn and worn out by little people. Don't buy it expecting something worthy of the movies, get it for your little one to go crazy in.

I wanted to find a fun trunk of outfits for my two young boys to be able to play dress up with. It was suggested to me that I just stock up on Halloween costumes but it was out of season and they are expensive online. That's when I found this product. Yes, they are not full costumes (they are actually more like smocks that the child slips over their head and ties on the sides) but they are easy for my sons to put on and take off and they are easily washable. Also, because I knew my sons would likely destroy them fairly quickly I didn't want to spend a lot of money on more expensive costumes. All three have held up extremely well. The Batman and Robin masks are both too big (my boys are three and 20 months) but that doesn't bother them much. The bottom line is that they LOVE wearing capes and dressing up and I would buy this set again in a heartbeat! (One more note, the costumes don't come in a "trunk," they come in a cardboard box.)

My son has always been a Batman fan. We first purchased this product when he was 2yrs old, so he could stop wearing his sisters' princess dress-up clothes. It is now three years later and he still wears it practically everyday ... sometimes even two costumes at once for extra powers. He also carries a costume in his backpack everywhere we go, in the event there is an emergency that requires a superhero. These costumes are simple for him to get on and off without parental assistance unlike the regular jumpsuit hero costumes sold during Halloween. This Summer we happen to be at the Jersey shore on Superhero day and since he had his costumes with him, he was able to join in all the dress-up fun without being overly hot. He even let his sisters borrow the other costumes, so they could participate in the various contests. We all had a blast.The set we originally purchased had a black Batman mask and has been very durable. We wash them quite often, because he wears them almost non-stop. The fabric hasn't faded and none of the symbols have washed off. I wash them in cold water, with Tide HE. I, also, add Oxyclean if there are heavy stains dry it on low. They are still going strong after three years. We love this product so much that it is the birthday gift we give to his friends at their birthday parties. We have received nothing but compliments.P.S. He wants Santa to get him a 2nd set this year, so that he can have the same "blue mask" that the Batman, Brave and the Bold wears.

These are very simple costumes that made my grandkids very happy. The quality is fine, although they might not be built to last forever. My only complaint is that I dearly wish there were a third mask. As you can see I am no purist when it comes to superheroes— Superman does not wear one, but my grandsons both wanted a mask that covers the face like the Batman mask! Wonderful purchase nevertheless.
