Permatex Thread Sealant with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is an economical general-purpose fitting sealant that seals and resists pressure in air, oil, diesel fuel and hydraulic systems, outperforming tapes and pipe dopes. With a temperature range of -65 degrees fahrenheit to 300 degrees fahrenheit it remains pliable at higher and lower temperatures and also resists common shop fluids. Suggested Applications: Air conditioning fittings, temperature sending fittings, hydraulic fittings.

One completely emptied inside the box, another halfway, and the other two were trickling out. I got 8, four were fine, four were not.The price is not bad for these size bottles, so I'll likely order again.... just cross your fingers it makes it to you without too much loss.The caps on these bottles come off with about half a turn, since they're so short, it's a single thread keeping the tops on so if you get a few at a time, they will likely shake around and uncap each other. Hopefully whoever packs the products for shipping, keeps them in a more confined box, there was some decent room for all my bottles to move around in which is likely the cause of my mess.

I have been using this product for years, it ha many uses, I used it in the automotive industry, and I use it for all kinds of plumbing, PVC, brass and copper, little advice, clean the jar and seal tightly so it doesn't harden on you

i think this is good stuff....permatex quality is tops....but this stuff is quite messy to use, its a sticky thick paste/liquid that doesn't flow and it forms a dry surface film quickly....i did 6 one inch pipe unions and it ended up getting everywhere, especially when trying to wipe off excess.....but there are times when its the best sealant for the situation....the bottle doesn't say what the right solvent is, it's not water as far as i can tell
