Ideal for use on frequently disassembled engines and two and four cycle engines. This solvent-based bond fully seals within 20 minutes. Resists gasoline and other damaging fluids. Withstands temperatures 350 degree fahrenheit continuous, 400 degree fahrenheit intermittent. When a chemical gasket is not an option, Permatex offers a wide range of gasket sealants suitable for applications on both import and domestic vehicles of any model year or performance caliber.

Great product, completely fuel proof once cured.To be very clear this product is very thin, just a tad thicker than dish soap. So prepare surfaces accordingly and be ready for drips.Great sealant and does cure to be soft and fairly flexible.I had cleared out a through hole a bit oversize when replacing the fuel line for a leaf blower. added some of this and was able to seal right up. If there is any gap, you want to block with something until it cures, washer, cardboard, clay, etc. Anything to stop it from flowing away from where you want it to be. I 3d printed something for my needs, but that is a bit overboard for normal useIf using it on a gasket, would hold and seal well without issues, will not be thick enough to flow anywhere.Tacky enough to hold item in place while horizontal. If vertical would need to be clamped.

This stuff is awesome. Don't squeeze it out and spread like peanut butter. Apply a little then brush out with a small brush (throw-away chem brush). Then, miraculously, it self levels as it dries to tacky. If your surfaces are clean and flush, this is the stuff. I wouldn't try and fill gaps or irregularities like you can with RTV (bent valve cover for example). But for assembly of new or machined parts, perfect!And it's gasoline tolerant (very!). I used as intake manifold gasket on a 100cc 4 stroke and ... Poof!!... No more air leaks!Have already bought again! Highly recommend!

I use this on 2 stroke restorations mainly during full engine rebuilds. Especially when customers drop off 1 engine in multiple boxes they tend to make dings and scratches in the sealing surfaces. So I rub a thin coat on both sides of the gaskets' works perfectly. I do recommend shaking the tube for a few minutes before using or it will be runny. I always keep a tube handy even at the track just in case.

ガソリンホースの継ぎ手部分に使おうと購入しました。金属バンドでだいたい漏れないようにはなっていますが、安心料として使いました。今のところ漏れ無し。しっかり働いてくれています。色が乾いても灰色っぽいので、（私の場合は）黒色なら目立たなくてよかったなぁと、わがままを感じています。
