It gas a light weight texture, which makes for easy application to fresh, raw tattoos. It moisturizes without over hydrating or leaving a greasy feel. A little goes a long way and I find that the product, which has a 24 month shelf life after opening, expires before I even use all of it. I can’t speak on it brightening old tattoos as I only use this on new, healing tattoos. As with any topical product, ALWAYS patch test before applying, especially if you’re using it for a healing tattoos. Everyone’s skin is different and will react differently to any ingredient in the product. Personally, I have dry, sensitive skin with ezcema, and I haven’t had a problem with the product in the past five years. I love this product and will stick with it :)) The tat in the picture is five years old and I used this product to moisturize it during the healing phase

This is the only lotion I will use for my tattoos! Easy application no scent! Makes your skin feel moisturized and your tattoo hydrated! Works very well and this was a great size!

This is a good product. It moisturizes well without being too thick or difficult to apply. The smell is unique, earthy, not unpleasant but not as nice as others. Still, doesn't linger so no matter. It is a great price and goes a long way for the size of the bottle. I've tried other very expensive brands and I came across this when my usual was out of stock. I was surprised by the quality and effectiveness. So much so that I completely switched brands to this. I will say, I see no enhancement in color of my tattoos. No brand that claims this that I've tried has enhanced color of my tattoos. However, I've always taken good care of all of mine from after care to maintenance so I really haven't based my choices on the enhancement gimmick... it is a gimmick, you know that right? I recommend you try this brand and see if it works for your chemistry. You'll save a ton if it works for you and the care it provides is very good.

I used this on a 3 day old tattoo, and it burned and stung like crazy as soon as I put it on. Other lotion wasnt irritating my skin, like Lubriderm and Mad Rabbit Gel, so I know its this product and not just my skin. As soon as I rinsed it off, and applied something else, the burning stopped. I might be able to use this once the tattoo is healed, but I highly suggest not using this on a fresh tattoo, or it might burn.

For convenient application
Easier to apply than the original, regular tattoo goo ointment. Does just as well for healing time reduction on fresh tattoos and reduces scabbing / peeling. .Doesn't smell as nice as the original ointment, but you trade that for the convenience of application. Smell is still much more pleasant than most lotions.

Great after care goo to help with healing after having a tattoo.

Nice product.
Lovely stuff.
I used this for the scabbing/peeling stage of my full sleeve and have been extremely pleased with it along with the same brand liquid soap.The small tube has lasted surprisingly long (approx 2 weeks) considering I was using it at minimum twice a day for a full sleeve, a little goes a long way and is easy to apply without prematurely removing scabs.
