She was enthralled by all the different animal noises and trying to figure out how they fit in. One thing I have to say about this puzzle is that the sounds are activated by the shadow of the pieces blocking the light-so the noises will not work in dim lighting. However, that feature is not really an issue for my daughter, who absolutely loves this puzzle, or I, who enjoys a long stretch of me time while she plays with it!!-

I had to edit my review. At first I wasn’t happy because the sound didn’t seem to be working. After reading the back of the puzzle though, I realized it needs bright lighting in order to make the sounds. Now that I know this, I give this toy 5 stars. The puzzle pieces are easy to put in and take out. The colors are vibrant and eye catching. It will be a great tool to help my son learn animals and what’s sounds they make.

Item was well packaged, the board itself is highly durable and sturdy, all the pieces were still attached upon receiving! The whole thing is shrink wrapped (just like the Melissa and Doug items you get from the store) and the animal sounds are so cute. I had purchased this as a gift for my son's birthday. This was definitely one of his more usable gifts he got this year.My 2 y/o loves it. He's started mimicking the animal sounds and it's such a fun one on one activity for us!

Puzzle is cute. The sounds are cute, but it makes the sound when the puzzle piece nears (e.g. hovers over) the spot it goes in. If you place the piece in quickly or slide, it doesn't make the sound. It needed batteries, so I had to remove the wrapper to put these in (has screws holding it in so as to be safe, I guess, for youngsters). So it was a bit disappointing that this gift looked because of having to remove the shrink wrap to install batteries. I was surprised it needed batteries - the web page did not make this clear.

The media could not be loaded. My child loves it. In half a day, she was able to figure out how to put together puzzles correctly. She is 17 months old. This is exactly what I was looking for for her age. The only cons that I noticed is that the animals always start making sounds when the child brings something to it. It could just be her hand or a wrong image of another animal. For example, if you bring a cat to a dog, the cat still barks. This can be confusing for a child who is just learning about animals. It would be nice if, in case of an error, there will be some other sound or something like "oops, it's not right, let's try again".

The 1st puzzle didn't work, u would put the cow in it's place & it would neigh like the horse. They replaced it & it not even 2 months & the 2nd puzzle stopped working. My 2 yr old ggson barely played with it & we've replaced batteries 4 times. Mostly we keep it turned off. Now no animal sounds work ‼️ definitely NOT worth the money ‼️

I didn't even mean to order one with noise but it only makes noise if you put your finger over the sensor and not every time and not every animal. We touched the horse and it made the sheep's sound. It makes no noise when we place the pieces where they belong. I would rather it just didn't make any noise as to not confuse my one year old learning animal sounds.

The has the following implications, that the animal doesn't need to be placed in position, nor does it need to be placed inside the correct position (so you get a duck going meow).As they are light sensors, our daughter has also figured our she can lie over the base and get all sorts of animal noises. Fun, but not what we were hoping for.

Siempre recomiendo esta marca, para mi es garantía y mis hijas tienen colección de juguetes de Melissa and Dough pero en esta ocasión compramos este rompecabezas para regalo de mi sobrina y llegó roto de una esquina, la madera de veía de mala calidad, no pudimos devolverlo xq ya viajaban de regreso a casa a USA y ya no había tiempo y así se lo llevaron pero es el único juguete de esta marca del que podría quejarme, además no se xq estaba solo este diseño mi hoja tiene el puzzle con sonidos pero rojo y los dibujos son más lindos, los sonidos de mejor volumen y el material de mejor calidad, este no lo recomiendo mcho
Very cute and good sounds
My grandkids like this puzzle. The sounds are light sensitive so will be triggered even with the wrong piece - but it is the right sound for the spot so not a big deal.

Die Bilder von diesem Puzzle sind super. Das ist aber auch das einzigste.Die Geräusche der Tiere sind nicht schön. Zum Teil kann man sie auch nicht erkennen. Und selbst, wenn man ein Tier in die falsche Position stecken möchte, ertönt das jeweilige Tiergeräusch. Des Weiteren, war der hintere Teil nicht richtig zusammen geklebt, so dass man es selber nochmal nachleimen mußte. Zurück schicken wäre wahrscheinlich schwierig geworden, da dieses Puzzle aus England kam und mein englisch nicht so super ist. Ich würde es nicht wieder kaufen.
