Matcha is a wonderful choice for those mindful of their health; unlike other types of tea (green or any other) that is simply infused with the tea leaves possibly long after the plant was cut, decreasing nutriients, but with matcha, you’re drinking the actual leaves getting all of the nutrition. This miracle elixir has been consumed for over a millennium in the Far East, and is now considered to be one of the most powerful super foods on the market today for good reason! I put a tsp of matcha powder in my morning smoothie every single day, and if I miss a day I can really feel the difference in concentration, energy, and vitality. I love it for all of the protective health benefits, too.No wonder the Japanese are the longest living people on the planet! For people who don't know, this is perfect for baking, color,..etc, dissolves better than ceremonial grade, less sticky also, but less enjoyable to drink by far...I got this for my kids to drink, they waste alot so this is a better value for all of us. Pretty much like Dunkin's matcha (not sweetened)...Ceremonial grade is more expensive for a reason, it's just about what you need it for. I can tell the difference by smell/taste/texture, my teens can't! ;)

I am changing my review from a low to high rating. After working with the matcha for a while, I found that by adding the right amount of honey, vanilla or lavender the bitterness goes away and is good!! Glad I stuck with it.

This was delivered so quickly and efficiently. The delivery person wore a mask and dropped it near my garage which was GREAT! When I opened up my box, I was so excited to use this product for my desserts and tea. I made matcha tea with this and wow it tasted so bitter, so I added a bit of my blue agave syrup which I purchased from Trader Joe's. This matcha powder was organic and that's the main reason why I purchased this. This matcha powder came with a small spoon. The spoon was inside the bag when I opened it. I loved how smooth the matcha powder was and there weren't any clumps in it like other matcha powder brands I've tried in the past. The flavor was VERY STRONG! I wouldn't recommend adding more than one spoonful of this in tea or desserts. I only add 1/8 teaspoon of this to my iced matcha tea and when I made my matcha cookies. When I added a 1/2 teaspoon of matcha powder to my matcha cookies, the color was a very DARK shade of green. That's when I decided to add only a tad bit of this to my cookies and mochi. The color looked fantastic! Not too dark and not too light! The packaging was very appealing to my eyes. It looked very welcoming and smooth. It looked authentic and organic! I'd recommend this to home cooks and pastry chefs. This stuff is so GREAT!! I'd definitely purchase this, again. Oh and they last a long time, too. I just love thus product!!

I use this matcha powder to make a copycat Starbucks green tea. I use one tablespoon of the matcha, 16 oz of milk or milk alternative, simple syrup to taste, over ice, and it is the same beverage for a lot less money.
