Prestone Power Steering Fluid + Stop Leak (PSF+SL) delivers increased system life and prevents & stops system leaks. Stop Leak additives renew, restore and condition seals in the power steering system. These seals harden and shrink over time which are the likely cause of leaks. The stop leak additives also prevent leaks by rejuvenating seals before they leak. Also designed with Anti-wear System Protection, Prestone PSF+SL protects against pump failure, squeals and clogs. This 50,000 mile fluid life is formulated for use in all manufacturers; cars, SUVs, crossovers, and light and medium duty trucks. This a conventional fluid. Many cars 2006 and newer use synthetic based fluids for longer life and better protection. Conventional and synthetic fluids can be mixed but performance and replacement intervals are reduced by the conventional fluid.

Works Well – Helped Stop a Minor Leak
I used the Prestone AS262 Power Steering Fluid with Stop Leak on my older vehicle that had a small power steering leak, and it made a noticeable difference. After adding the fluid, the noise reduced, steering felt smoother, and the leak slowed significantly over the next few days.The product is easy to use—just pour it directly into the power steering reservoir. It mixes well with existing fluid and didn’t cause any issues. I also appreciate that it helps condition seals, which is a big plus for older vehicles.This is a great option if you’re looking to extend the life of your steering system without jumping straight into expensive repairs. Highly recommended for minor leaks and maintenance.

Slight drip gone
I had a slight drip from my gear box, and now it’s gone. MAGIC! I’m really surprised it actually worked.
