My wife has been wearing a pokey-up hair style for several years. This was recommended by her hair dresser. Perfect for her needs. She runs a little bit of this through her hair and she's good to go for the day. It does make the hair stiff enough to stand straight up. It's definitely not for a flexible hair style. The hair is "stuck in place" all day. You're not going to run your fingers through your hair with this gel but if you wear your hair up this is a great product. A little bit goes a long way- don't use more than a few drops.

This gel is amazing! It holds your hair in place, protects it from heat, not sticky, gives volume, does not dry out hair, thick, and and is for sure worth the money! I would DEFINITELY recommend!

Has good hold, gives the texture I want. But I’ve tried for 3 days to open the pump with no success. I guess I haven’t found the trick to it. I just unscrew the cap to use. It’s too thick to transfer to another bottle.

This may be a great gel, but I never used it - couldn’t get past the scent. I think Gen Z is more into “unisex” scents, but being from Gen X, i like my beauty products to smell what I have been used to my whole life - citrus, flowers, vanilla, and all things “girly”. This gel has a decidedly musky, “manly” smell to me. Did not like. Did not use. Although I’ve heard it’s great for curly hair. May give to my teenagers for them to try.

I like to use other products first and top with this. I have very fine, low density, high porosity curls/wavesIt can be a little drying (I personally like that)Smell is not too overwhelming and is gone after I scrunch out the crunch 👍

The Best Out Of My Experiment
So many reviews on this that it’s hard to determine if it’s right or not. Bottom line is it depends on your hair. For me it is excellent and I experimented with over 10 gels. Strong hold and great smell. The only thing to note is that you need more for a stronger hold but other than that it’s fantastic!

I had asked the question "Can I use this for my dog"?I contacted CHI and they said they no longer make the one for dogs but all their product are madesafe for humans and animals but USE AT YOUR OWN RISK as each dog is different.I used a very small amount and it didn't seem to bother her and it held okay so all in allI'm happy. HOPE THIS HELPS OTHER DOG LOVERS
