I worked an extra job at a manufacturing plant that had a working engineer machinist who made metal parts with very tight tolerances. He mentioned Motorkote and that he swore that it works as a protective lubricant. He is in to Shriner small engine cars and often participates in parades. He caused a hole in his oilpan and put in a temporary plug until after the parade one day. He always puts Motorkote in with his oil as a protectant for metal wearing parts. During the parade the pan heated up and caused the plug to fall out draining out all of his oil for his mini car. He was able to drive the entire parade without oil in his engine without his engine failing. Because of his recomendation, I started putting it in with all my vehicle oil changes. I also put a small amount in with my trans fluid. I have had geat luck with my engines running smoothly. I have 314,000 on my Dodge Truck, and over 100,000 on all my other cars. HIGHLY recommended. My dad is a diesel mechanic and swears by it.I put this in my 2011 Mini Cooper S and i gained around 3+ miles per gallon. I never had any of the typical oil related issues associated with this car. It works! I feel like my car gained ever more power.I have read online that this stuff contains chlorine and causes gunk to form on the bottom of the oil pan, but I did not experience this, and neither has my dad, who runs his oil over 10k miles in his 18-wheeler using extended life 100% synthetic. I used this every other oil change and changed my Mini's oil every 5k with synthetic. My mini loved it and sounded quieter after using. Go for it.

I've been using this product for a few years. I have vehicles that now have pretty high miles, and believe this product may be the biggest reason that these engines have lasted so long. I also used it in a 6.0 Chevy that I bought new. I abused that vehicle every week. I pushed it far beyond it's intended use, and put over 300,000 mi on it before I sold it in running condition. I now I have 378,000 on my current pickup.
