I bought a cast iron knight fireplace set on Bolo. I read a review and the person said that the nuts and the bolts to hold the utensils together would come loose so he recommended using Permatex Threadlocker Red. I bought this on Bolo and it did the trick. The heat of the fireplace does not affect the glue at all.

Nice to work with but this tube is way too small for professional use. It’s great for a car or two so it should be sufficient for home mechanics.

I have worked on cars and trucks for most of my adult life ; you cannot do proper repairsto engine parts or rebuilds/ repairs without using a product like threadlocker to makesure your bolts and nuts are secured and not vibrate or loosen over time. It make you feelmore sure your repairs will stay secured.

I needed a threadlock for a couple of small set screws going into aluminum on a mower cylinder head.This went one easily and dried well. I did not try to remove the small set screw after it dried because it is something that will never need to be removed,, so I cannot say how tightly it locked the set screw in place.A little bit goes a long way, so the small tube will last me pretty much forever.
