DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANYTHING ELSE!!!! Went in circles buying the cheap steel core stuff only for my poor 350sbc to be leaking oil like crazy. Think of these gaskets as an investment. Would’ve saved money if I had just bought from the beginning.***FAIR WARNING YOU WILL NEED LONGER BOLTS IF YOU HAVE SHORT ONES***I used the classic looking T/V bar valve cover bolts.

Great valve covers! High quality! I use them on all my race motors and never have a problem with them leaking. I typically take the valve covers off pretty often and reuse the same valve covers. They last for a very long time! Highly recommend for your engine.

Excellent Valve Cover Gaskets
These are amazing gaskets because they keep the pressure firm around the perimeter so that you'll have no leaks. Also, the material does not soak up the oil like my old gaskets; with a sealer, my old gaskets still leaked! You'll pay more for these but you'll be happy they don't leak since this solves the problem of the perimeter design being prone to leaks.

Not cheap but they are reusable and fit perfectly. Put them on a chev 350 and no leaks - these engines are notorious for leaking valve covers. Would recommend.
Perfect seal at last!
I’ve always had trouble keeping my valve covers from leaking. Sometimes confused it by appearing to be a rear main seal leak by oil dripping from the bell housing. Tried a lot of different rubber gaskets with limited success. I use Edelbrock heads which don’t have a lot of contact area around the back lower corners and always have oil pooled inside the rear corners up to the gasket which doesn’t help. I tried the perma plus gaskets before thinking they were the same as these but they are not. The perma plus are black rubber with steel core where these are thicker and made of silicone with steel which is more pliable. I paid the extra $$ this time and have finally eliminated all leaks. I torqued the bolts to 3 ft/lbs and didn’t retorque after running.
Best valve cover gaskets money can buy
I have tried many other valve cover gaskets and alway would leak oil . These felpro 1628 are the best valve cover gaskets . Yes they are pricey buy trust me they are worth every penny. All the felpro blue gaskets are great . It's the only gaskets I will ever buy.
