Ordered 3-of these as I have found after 4-5 oil changes the seal can harden, or compress, so it no longer seals in the oil. My wife hates the oil drips in our garage! The Chromium plating make this part much better than the OEM plug.

Had this and an oem plug (always have plugs and oil filters around incase when oil change is due and dealers don't have in Stock I won't be stuck) and my wife and daughter said oem was slightly bigger but to my suprise it fit.did perfect..no complaints so I'll order more cause dealer close to me charges $16. A plug.insane..just moved wasn't expecting that price, autoland in Union County was about $6- $8 I believe..

The old oil plug on my 2007 Ford Fusion was so stripped, we could barely get it off the first time I changed the oil, so I was in dire need of a replacement. This one came and was a perfect fit. Replaced the old one on my next oil change after completely destroying the old one trying to get it off again.This one has a nice gasket around the edge that seems to be providing a good seal. Haven't changed the oil again since, so hopefully that remains the same for years to come.

Used this to replace a drain plug in my daughter's 2005 PT Cruiser that was being difficult to remove and install due to likely thread damage. This has the OE O-ring under the shoulder of the bolt and fit great. Installed easily and tightened down with no problems. No leaks.
