Fuel tank fits like factory. It doing a ls swap on a c-10 I recommend this for doing so. You can get a sending unit that is a direct drop in and put whatever fuel pump you want really. Good quality fuel tank for sure.

It arrived in good shape and on schedule. I deal with a lot of Chinese parts at work and have learned to be skeptical. This tank has what appears to be a quality resistance weld joining the tank halves. They also claim it is leak tested after manufacture and is constructed from corrosion resistant steel alloy. I can’t vouch for that, but it is one of the reasons it was purchased. To be safe I cleaned it up with some solvent and hit with a few coats of Rustoleum primer and rubberized undercoating. It is a perfect replacement for 87 Chevy V10 Silverado Driver side 16-gallon tank that had seen better days.

Order this tank for a 1987 C10 for my 86 Chevy C10. Will work for any 1982-86 short bed 16 gallon tank. This tank has a pan inside of it because in 1987 it had TBI. Sending unit from LMC for 82-86 cleared the pan for both a Driver and Passenger side. Slight bending of float may be needed? Checked to make sure Ohms read less than 5 empty and above 90 full or upside down before installing. Order to replace stock tanks and can add Fuel injection or an LS in the future with this tank. Othet upgrades needed as well, but can keep stock as well for now!

The product and dealer services was excellent but didn’t fit to my 1983 GMC c1500 as it’s smaller and needs some supports modifications even the fuel pipes
