I have always had a good experience with felpro exhaust gaskets and I have seen a review saying that this gasket set does not work for the 86 chassis. I ordered these and in fact these gaskets do fit! I couldn’t be more happier and relieved from the bad exhaust leak I use to have, but now it’s gone! I definitely recommend this set to any fellow FRS, BRZ, and 86 owners who are installing UEL or EL headers.

I've always used Felpro gaskets as they've never let me down. I installed these yesterday on a new Subaru catalytic converter...that I didn't want to revisit later. These are quality gaskets that will hold up to to the high heat and they seal perfectly.

Haven't installed yet but from past purchases of felpro they always fit perfectly. Purchased a head gasket for my 2010 legacy and it's still going strong and I've put about 15000 to 20000 miles on it so felpro for the win!

This was an exact fit for my 2010 subaru forester with the 2.5l engine. My original gasket was leaking causing a loss of power and excess noise. After installing this gasket my Subaru runs smooth again.

This gasket was not an exact match to the OEM gasket it was replacing, but, appears to be reinforced in the areas where it matters. There wer no problems after installing this gasket and torquing down to OEM specification.

The headers are not as hard to take off as one would expect. Just need a big breaker or 250 lbs torque wrench, and some WD40. The bolts or studs eventually turn. A bit of scraping, slip in the new gaskets, and the exhaust is now much quieter. Worth doing if you hear noise from the exhaust headers.
