Received, painted and installed on my 400 Pontiac. There's just one problem, there are 2 different water pumps for a 1969 400 Pontiac engine. There's a short snub and a long snub. The one I purchased is a long snub and will not work with current pulley configurations. So , I had to eat the cost. My only saving grace is that I can most likely sell the one I have to a local Pontiac mechanic. For those who don't know , mid year 69 engines changed to a long snub design. Your welcome.

I specifically asked if this was long or short hub height, 2 responses said yes it was the short hub height that i needed. They were both wrong, it is the long hub height thats of no use to me.

The only issue I have with this part is the stamped impeller as opposed to the more durable and efficient (In my opinion) cast impeller. It will serve the purpose for the most part and I have no real complaints with it.
