I must say that it definitely made the set look so much better after having weathered finish for so long. But after about 2 years, this paint also started to fade heavily. Since the local stores didn't have the can version of this paint, I ordered from Bolo. Well, let me tell you, after painting just the top of the table, what a difference. Again, I used the spray on some of the other parts, but when using a brush and applying from the can, the look and feel are so much better. You can tell that this will hold up so much better than the spray version. Even the hammered look is more pronounced. If you have old outside furniture that just doesn't have the look appeal anymore, I definitly recommend trying this out. It will bring everything back to life.

I love this paint. I have used it in many places in my garden, including an iron gate backed with heavy mesh. I just refreshed many pieces of iron furniture in my backyard. I have quite a collection of different pieces, from lounge chairs to various tables to a baker's rack (next to the BBQ on my patio). This is a deep and rich color and unites all of the pieces. I know from experience that it lasts without fading or getting chalky. Some of my pieces were estate sale items, chipped or faded, and now everything looks new! The can came with special little staples holding the lid shut so no accidental spills during shipping.

A large tree branch hit my metal shed and caved in the roof to some extent. It began to leak pretty bad. I didn't think this would work,but I was dead wrong. Its very thick,but spreads evenly. Once dry it has a texture kind of like ceramic,and seals really good!! I ended up not only resealing the roof of the shed with it,but I used the entire can and rolled the rest of it onto the sides and front. This small can ccovered my entire 8x10 shed with one exterior coat,sealing it nicely and looking brand new again after 10 years and rust. I will buy this again as needed.

This paint is extremely durable outdoors. It’s the only brand that I’ve found to have this hammered copper color. It’s beautiful! Just make sure to use in a well ventilated area because it does have a strong smell, but it goes away when dry.

I’ll start off with the hate painting because it always shows my mistakes this stuff seem to have some sort of metal flakes or something in it which gives it a somewhat rough appearance, but still very smooth and hides every little imperfection. I lightly sanded my outdoor overhang used a foam roller on flat metal. The stuff coats with one coating crazy thick, looks like it’ll be there a lot longer after the overhang is gone! I’d buy again.

excellent consistent finish on variety of surface without excessive preparation (ie clean, and dry) - it really does work to give th euniform finish. used on a pool filter (uv and algae damaged fiberglass) and it looks like new. note two coats are rquired - second 30 mins after first - wrap you brush in clingfilm to presrve between coats, then dispose of th ebrush. this needs solvent cleaner so not worth saving a brush, but be sure to have some paint thinner or solvent cleaner to hand for minor cleanup. wear disposable gloves to save your hands.

I used this Rust-Oleum Hammer paint to paint my 25 year old Hayward pool filter. I was looking for something that would be good for this purpose and my Internet search took me to this product. I did some light sanding before applying 2 coats. The result looks really good. The color is much darker than the original color of the filter but still looks really good.

Copper stair rails
This hammered copper paint was just what we wanted! It was easy to work with, looks genuinely like hammered copper, it’s the perfect shade of copper, and was a perfect application for the steel stair rails! We also used it on wood—diluted it somewhat and got the perfect lighter colour with the same hammered texture. I searched many outlets for copper paint in a can—found lots of copper spray paint, but this was the ONLY can of hammered coppered I could find. To say we are pleased with the product would be an understatement…I would highly recommend this paint to anyone desiring a genuine hammered copper finish!
