Max-Gear is recommended for use in truck, motor home/RV and automotive front or rear differentials, manual transmissions, and lower gear units of marine engines that specify use of an API GL-5 or GL-4 fluid. All viscosities of Max-Gear are formulated with hypoid friction modifiers necessary for use in clutch or cone type differentials. No additional additives are necessary.

Used this to replace the transmission and chaincase lube in my 2019 Harley Trike and noticed an improvement in sound and smoothness of the clutch and transmission plus a decease in temperature from the Harley HD synthetic lube I had been running, which is basically the same weight and cost as Royal Purple. I am also running the exact same lube in my 2018 Ford F-150 and it silenced the typical "knock" in the rear end that a lot of new Fords have when changing gears with the factory weight lube. Great product plus this will also be going into both differentials on my new 2021 Jeep Wrangler once everything settles in.

Used this for my rx7 93 , I can tell a-lot of strain has been taken away from my gear box , noticeably less drag , overfilled it at first but drains out excess through relief valve , noticeably runs cooler , i wouldn't use anything else
