I used this on a metal hinge on a real wooden cabinet door. It dried fast and is still working. The hinge is on the cabinet I store my coffee, tea and medicines in. I use it often every day. I recommend this product.

It is indeed super. Dries quickly. But, you need to gather all your broken things to fix at the same time because once you've opened a tube, it dries closed. If you try to overpower the tube, it will open at some unexpected spot and you'll be peeling super glue off your fingers for the next seven days.

I discovered Elmers Super Glue several years ago at a hobby store. Liked it a lot, but hadn't seen it in the stores since then. Fortunately, it is available on Bolo, hooray! It works well as adhesive. I use it frequently for hobbies, and in lieu of tape when wrapping packages (applied cautiously in tiny amounts). Of course, you must always be careful when handling super glue - regardless of what brand you use. The best part - if the tube is capped properly, it doesn't harden as quickly as the other brands I've tried. Most other brands solidify before I've used up the tube, which can be frustrating. Great stuff.

These tiny little tubes of glue have rescued more things around our home, and all of a sudden I can no longer find it in the stores. I have found it to work where other versions of "super glue" have failed. I think what sold me on Elmer's Super Glue more than anything, however, is when I first got my false upper teeth, I dropped the plate and one front tooth snapped right off. I'd already spent so much on the denture project as it was and I dreaded the cost of the repair--not to mention, I couldn't run around with a front tooth missing! So, I used Elmer's Super Glue to hold it in place till I saw the denturist, he said it was doing a great job as was, and here a couple years later it is still holding and looks fine. I am very pleased to locate it online and intend to invest in much more of it.Joyce Corey
