I purchased this to replace an older version of this Bunn appliance for our church. It is terrific. Easy to set up and use, dependable and reliable, plus it makes great coffee! The Bunn unit we had still worked, but leaked water. However, it was 20 years old. This is the new version, and it's terrific. It doesn't come with a decanter, however, so you'll need to order however many you need. We had two with the old one and I ordered a third. This is a fine machine and I highly recommend it for churches, businesses, or anywhere you need a good coffee maker that can make and hold coffee quickly. By the way, you do not have to connect this to a water supply, like the commercial Bunn units.

We purchased a "BUNN VPS 12-Cup Pourover Commercial Coffee Brewer, with 3 Warmers". In addition we purchased "BUNN Regular and Decafe Glass Coffee Pot Decanter / Carafe, 12 Cup, 2 Black and 1 Orange, Set of 3" . Following the enclosed instructions for the brewer, we poured in the first round of water allowing for the overflow to be caught in an empty Decanter. We waited 20 minutes for the water to heat. Next we test poured in 64 ounces of water according to the instructions. The Decanter overflowed. We then test poured 62 ounces of water into the brewer and the Decanter filled to the brim. What is unknown is the number of ounces of water that will be absorbed by the coffee grounds and held in the basket. You need to make a few test runs with this brewer to find out how much water will be retained by the coffee grounds and not cause the Decanter to overflow. The description for the brewer says "12-Cup". We believe it brews only about 60 ounces of coffee. Our measure for a "cup of coffee" is 6 ounces which is only 10 cups with this brewer.

We purchased this BUNN machine to replace an older model. These machines are great! We set up the coffeemaker the day we received it and immediately poured through several pots of water to see how it was working. After doing that, we walked away and came back a couple hours to discover that the unit was boiling over from the inside. After spending time searching the internet, we learned that there is a thermostat inside and the settings were at the hottest setting (sent that way from the factory). After tweaking it and getting the temperature correct, it worked perfect! We wish it came with a manual that gave us instructions about that.I wouldn't hesitate to buy another - it's doing a great job for us!

Aside from that happy with my purchase
I also had a leak as some other buyers. Simply tightening the 3 bolts holding down the heating element fixed it. They were barely hand tightened. Aside from that happy with my purchase.
Muy buena cafetera!
Pedi hace tres meses la cafetera y todo bien hasta ahorita, sin embargo, es necesario señalar los siguientes puntos:- No le doy las cinco estrellas, porque cuando llegó no traía manual ni las pastillas para limpiarla, las cuales el manual dice que debe traer y son necesarias.- Al prender la cafetera, la caldera necesita calentarse, entonces te recomiendo que la conectes 30 o 40 minutos antes de usarla, (Solo conectarla) si hace ruidos extraños no te asustes, es normal.Cuando pase ese tiempo, pon el café en el lugar correspondiente (en el embudo negro) y la jarra en su parrilla (las cuales no van incluidas en la cafetera) y cuando la jarra ya esté en su lugar, incorporas el agua por la apertura de la parte superior( porque inmediatamente la incorpores saldrá el café).- al pasar dos meses empece a notar que el café tardaba mucho en salir, fue cuando me di cuenta que necesitaba limpiezay ocupas unas pastillas especiales, las encontre aqui en Bolo y las pedí, sin embargo, eran demasiado grandes.te cuento a detalle como la limpie:Quitas el embudo negro de plastico donde pones el cafe y hay un cabezal con unos orificios, ahí es donde sale el agua caliente, le das vuelta con la mano hacia el lado contrario de las manecillas del reloj, lo quitas y veras como por dentro tiene acumulado el sarro del agua y lo lavas.Yo aparte de lavarlo meti por el orificio donde se enrosca esa parte la pastilla que compré en Bolo, le quedó grande así que la hice pedacitos y la meti para que limpiara la maquina por dentro. Es necesario hacerlo para el sarro acumulado que no vemos dentro de la maquina y haz unas tres jarras de agua hasta que salga limpia.Despues de eso volví a tener de vuelta café rapido.Es muy buena cafetera ya que te acostumbras a su funcionamiento.
