I recently purchased this Yuasa battery for my 2002 Kawasaki Voyager. After shopping around it appeared to be the best value and have the most CCA Cold Cranking Amps. The shipping was quick, within 4 days, and installation was easy. Just open the box, remove the battery, remove the protective strip and insert the plastic bottles that contain the activating acid. Then charge the battery for 5-7 hours and it's ready to do. I then installed it in my Voyager and it fired right up. My hope is that it lasts at least 2-3 years.

Defective product with no warrantyI purchased this Yuasa YTX24HL-BS battery for my 1988 GL1500 Honda Goldwing on 3/31/14. It never held a charge for more than a month and now it won’t take a charge at all. I always used a Schumacher 1.5 amp automatic charger. The indicator light on the charger never switched from yellow to green to indicate that the battery was fully charged. The battery was fairly warm to the touch as it was being charged. It would charge enough to operate the bike but if left sitting for 3 to 4 weeks it would go dead with no load at all on it. I swapped an identical battery charger from my Kawasaki 1100 Spectre to the Goldwing. Same result, the Kawasaki battery charged just fine with the charger from the Goldwing but the Goldwing battery failed identically using the charger from the Kawasaki. This confirmed for me that the battery was the problem, not the charger. The battery was defective from day one but worked well enough to get by with. I should have returned it immediately but didn’t. When it totally failed today I decided to see about a warranty replacement.Unfortunately, I did not read the warranty clause on Bolo nor Yuasa’s websites before purchasing this battery. The warranty clause on Bolo’s webpage reads: Manufacturer’s warranty can be requested from customer service.From Yuasa’s website: Yuasa Battery, Inc. does not handle warranty issues directly. All inquiries should be directed to the dealer where the battery was purchased. The dealer's distributor sets the warranty period and handles all warranty claims. The warranty time frame and terms are not specified by Yuasa.I spoke to both Bolo and Yuasa customer service about the warranty and each told me that it was the other’s responsibility. I got nowhere. Yuasa did tell me that it is a bad idea to buy their batteries from Bolo for this and other reasons.So beware, you may receive a defective battery as I and many others have. If you do, try to return it to Bolo within 30 days and you might be taken care of. Beyond that and you will end up with a $100 paper weight.

I purchased this battery to replace an original in my 2021 Can Am Spyder, it was very easy and safe to set up following MFG instructions very happy with its set up process. As far as longevity can't attest as I have just installed in the Winter months where it will have little or no use.

I PURCHASE THE BATTERY IN FEB. AFTER A MONTH IT WAS NOT CHARGING THE WINDOW OF RETURNED HAS PASSED AND I EMAILED THE SELLER AND WITHIN A FEW DAYS THEY EMAIL ME BACK AND HONOR THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY. THEY SEND ME A NEW BATTERY NEXT DAY. NOW IF THAT IS NOT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE THAN WHAT IS? DEFINITELY A+++++++

Great battery (bought 10/27/14) for 82 Yamaha 920 that's noted for starter problems. To date (4/10/16) the battery is just as strong and amazing it sits some weeks without charging. For those with Virago 920/750 starting problems, I made a couple of fixes that solved the (box of rocks nerve racking) embarrassment. First I replaced the damaged parts with (Chopper Bobs starter kit parts) which was a big help. Second - I took the starting load off the starter and gear engagement until the engine rotates about 2 spins. The heads up grunt that occurs when you first attempt to start the engine is not compression but ignition/combustion. I wired a jumper so that (with the key on), (kill switch off) the starter spins but withoutspark. While holding the starter button and after 2 spins, flip the kill switch on for ignition and it starts effortlessly. I understand some Harley's and older twins that don't have start /ignition delay have similar problems. I would do a through test afterwards to make sure all your starting procedures remain safe. It's been over a year since the fix so I thought it time to share with others who really like the bike but hate to start it.
