5.0 out of 5 stars Fits and works great in my vintage Montblanc Slimline Fountain Pen
I just found this pen after it sat in a box of university supplies for >25 years. The only ink cartridges I also found in the box did not fit that pen, which is a head scratcher. These Pelikan cartridges are perfect and this pen writes like it is brand new again. I only wish this ink was waterproof, but I plan to get a Pelikan converter now that I know it will fit and use that with some waterproof ink.

Have been using this for years in fountain pen. Have used other colors but those cartridges are smaller and don't last as long. Can't say for sure exactly how long each cartridge lasts. Use to write letters and journal entries. So not an every day pen cartridge. But re-order infrequently because they last so long.And the ink flows smoothly from the tip of your pen. If have good penmanship can write just like days of old. Wish kept up that penmanship learned.Perfect for any fountain pen that fits this style cartridge. Highly recommend.

See also other review for the Black. These can be used in any pen that takes a Waterman fountain pen cartridge, but not where a short version is used. They cost less, but provide the same amount of ink. I bought elsewhere a 15 pack, i.e., 3 5 pack ones sold together. Longer lasting than the shorter ones.

The color is pleasant to look at. Ink does not bleed all over the page. This ink cartridge does what it’s supposed to do. It is the best it can be. I don’t think manufacturer can do anything to improve it. No complaints from me.

I started out by purchasing only 1 box - a pity it arrived with 2 of the cartridges already popped open, leaving a mess of blue ink on both ends of the box, inside the box, on the cartridges, etc. At first I wanted to "return it" but at these prices, never mind. One of the cartridges that popped open had 50% ink left in the barrel, and the other had about a third left.The ink itself worked nicely. It has a beautiful tint, flows smoothly, and I can reuse the cartridges because some of the converters were "dubious" in quality.For the future, I would suggest buying more of them, so that packed together they will be sturdier. Or buy the type of Pelican cartridge that comes in a tin box.
