Lance Armstrong calls this stuff "miracle tape" and he's right. There are several things this tape claims to do. Its elastic properties supposedly help lift the skin from around your muscles, allowing lymph fluid to drain waste products more easily, speeding healing. Also, when placed on certain points, it helps realign muscles, temporarily relieving pressure on stiff joints. It also acts as a kind of gentle compression tape with just the right amount of elasticity. Even if these claims seem too good to be true you cant discount the increased level of confidence you get from having your sore muscles securely taped--you feel as though you cant injure yourself, that you're protected from pulling or straining anything, and this increased confidence stops you from running improperly to try to "avoid" pain. I've got a neuroma in my foot and a three inch piece running from over my metatarsals to the top of my ankle stops the throbbing foot pain I usually get after a few hours in a tight pair of shoes. I love this tape--I bought a giant roll after spending a small fortune on a lot of little rolls. There is a somewhat comparable product, "physio-tape" that is slightly cheaper but I don't think it is as elastic as kinesio tape and it hurts when you pull it off--Kinesio comes off painlessly. The long-lasting elasticity of Kinesio tape makes this product such a "miracle." I can't gush enough about it. Love it. Love it. Love it! (shop around though, and make sure you look at shipping costs. Bolo's price isnt the best but they're not charging that much for shipping)

I was suffering from plantar faciitis but didn't want to stop running, so after doing some research decided to order this. My expectations were very low - I thought how is taping my foot going to help? I watched a video on runnersworld.com on how to properly tape your foot with kinesio tape for plantar faciitis. Well, I'm here to tell you that I was able to run 5 miles every day with little to no pain, as long as my foot was taped!! I couldn't believe it but it truly does help. I even tweaked my ankle running, went to runnersworld.com to see how to properly use kinesio tape for ankle pain, and low and behold, that worked too. I highly recommend this product to all runners and athletes!! The only downfall, which I had read but didn't think it would really make a difference, is that the red (pink) kinesio tape doesn't stick as good/last as long as the black tape. Well after my huge success using the tape, I ordered 3 more rolls, but in black. Kinesio tape claims to stay on for 3 days even during showers, but that is not the case. Considering I run every day, between sweating and showering, the pink tape was good for a one day use. After my shower and run I'd have to change it. The black tape however, did last a little long. I could wear it all day, run, shower, and the tape would last through the following day but would have to be replaced before my run that evening. Regardless, this tape is worth the money!! I will always have a stock of kinesio tape on hand at all times!!

I’ve used this product before and the tape I got 5 years ago is still good and doesn’t fray around the edges. I had noticed that this tape at physical therapy was fraying but thought it was just the beige tape. That this new tape frays and the cloth is a coarser weave are the only downsides. This tape functions great, it micro-massages sore/injured muscles/tendons/ligaments and will also help with bruising. It is very important to prepare the area properly before applying the tape otherwise the tape won’t stick well.

I have tried a couple of different brands. This one by far holds up the best throughout an intense workout. I use the tape on my knees and find it best stays on, because my knees sweat a lot, wearing workout pants vs shorts and can use one application for 2 days. This is the brand my physical therapist uses. Had to ask after buying two other brands that didn’t work (tape would rip with barely any strain and adhesive wasnt strong). 10/10 recommended this brand!!

I tore a muscle in my bicep, I tried several things before ordering this. Never used kt tape so was skeptical. My arm burned/hurt to flex, lift my phone or even reach a cabinet shelf for deodorant. I googled how to apply on a bicep, made sure not to touch the adhesive & trim the corners into rounds. It's been 10 hours with a toddler & homestead work & it's still holding strong. It's a pretty fresh injury(Injured Sunday, applied tape Wednesday), but even after all of today's work I barely feel any discomfort in my arm & no pain. Definitely going to keep a few rolls on hand for my old healed injuries & for any new ones.

This is GOOD stuff!!
This is GOOD stuff!! I bought it on recommendation from my Sports Therapist and (with appropriate direction on where to stick it!) it got me n my dodgy hamstring through Tough Mudder - and was still attached at the end (which, considering how wet/muddy I was at the finish, was pretty impressive)! I went for the Gold cos I was told it was the best and this was the cheapest I'd manage to find it. It also arrived very quickly!
