If you have a Dremel, check out "Dremel 4485 Quick Change Collet Nut Kit". The shafts of these are too large for a Dremel.These: 4.73mmDremel (popular models): 4.30mmAs far as quality, these are what you want though. Well made, concentric, and the steel is the perfect hardness to avoid stick and slip. If your work is precision enough to warrant quality collets rather than the slop-jaw chuck I suggest getting a precision rotary tool.

The set came in quick, but one thing to note: the packaging that arrived showed signs of serious old age. the plastic covering shows sign of yellow, and it arrived cracked (brittle plastic). I thought I got just the collet with no clamping nut at first because the clamping nut fell off inside the box the package arrived in.there was also sign of someone taking a piece of tape to tape the collets down (so it looks like someone did indeed see the broken plastic so they decided to tape the collets down just in case [foresight is good i guess])I'll test out these guys later tonight but it looks and feels like durable materials though.I've submitted a photo of the packaging. hopefully that will explain it better.

The micromot tool I bought in Japan (years ago) came with 3.0 mm collet, but almost all my bits have 1/8 shank.Bad thing is, 1/8 inch shank somehow fits 3.0 mm collet, but the bit slips no matter how hard you tighten it. Finally I figured it out and bought this set. Problem solved.If your bit slips, buy this set, measure the shank diameter, and use a correct size collet. You will not regret.

My Proxxon FBS 115/E came with a chuck, no collets. The chuck is fine for many applications but it would loosen, due to intense vibration, when I was cutting plastic with a carbide bit. This collet set solved the problem. The collets are made of steel instead of aluminum and I also like that they are finger-tightened instead of needing a wrench.
