This fan shroud brings both form and function to the engine bay. The triple chrome-plated steel construction is not only durable but adds a slick, polished look that really stands out. It’s designed to fit most 20-inch diameter applications and does a great job helping the fan pull more air efficiently through the radiator, which improves overall cooling performance—especially useful on hot summer days or in high-performance setups.Installation was straightforward with the included hardware, and once mounted, it felt solid and rattle-free. It’s an affordable way to both clean up the look under the hood and optimize airflow.

This is a decent fan shroud for a very cheap price. I think it looks good and will certainly improve cooling by preventing the fan blades pulling air from around the sides rather than through the radiator. Only note I can make is, do yourself a favor and order Derale 13001 plastic rod mounting kit to install instead of the crummy bolts and wing nuts they give you with this. The Derale kit is faster and looks much better too.

My Galaxie has its original, non-rebuilt 352 V8, and I'm pretty sure there's some debris floating around in there. After doing as much flushing as I could and mounting a 4-row aluminum radiator, my next step was this shroud. It does help, although I'm still battling high heat. Note that this item is as pictured, and unless you have a tiny fan, there'll still be a large non-shrouded area at the bottom. In my case it surrounds about 2/3 of my 17" Derale fan. The attachment hardware won't work with many radiators, as it's too large to slip through the fins. On mine I substituted heavy-duty zip ties and made things work. I'm not out of the woods yet, but this item is definitely helping.

I need a fan shroud! I thought surely this would work. But it wouldn’t for my application. It may work for you but I couldn’t get it to fit.

Listen, running an old v8 in 100+ degree weather can be interesting without a shroud for the radiator, I took a shot with this one and it paid off. Cooler temps and matched the engine bay perfectly! The chrome was crisp and clean and easy install, great price and fit perfect.

Lo utilice para un radiador OEM de Ford Maverick V8 302 y funciono muy bien, para mejorar el sistema de enfriamiento compre “ Derale 17018 Heavy Duty Fan Blade Series 1000 1” y va muy bien con este aditamento por si lo quieren utilizar en conjunto, van muy bien ambos!
