I have Fibromyalgia with chronic fatigue. Most days I spend the day in bed. I read some articles on ALC and researched studies before I tried it. I always do this because I take several medications. Also, speak with your doctor. I'm not sure what your doctor is like but I asked one of mine about taking acetyl l-carnitine and she said herbs and vitamins are not overseen by the FDA so she really couldn't tell me anything about it. She did look it up on her laptop and we discussed it a bit. Anyway, back to the product. Due to the research I did, I started out with a dose of 3 capsules in the am and 2 in the afternoon. First day I had great energy, clarity and a good mood. Second day the same thing. But before it was time for me to take the 2nd dose, day 2, I noticed a rash on my lower legs. From past experience this is what happens when I'm allergic to something. I didn't take that 2nd dose. The next morning the rash was gone. I took 2 capsules. No energy, no clarity and no good mood. The next morning I cecided to go ahead and try taking just one dose of 3 for the day. Yea! Here comes the energy, clarity and good mood. I have continued to take 3 a day and have not broken out again. There are days still that I don't get out of bed but that's because I've been able to do things for 3 days before that! Haha! I don't know how to pace myself yet. I would highly recommend anyone who has a problem with fatigue to try ALC. I would highly recommend anyone with memory problems try ALC. I would also highly recommend someone who has anxiety, depression or low moods to try it. Do your reading, ask your doctor and see what it will do for you. It changed my life!

I got these for my mother but tried a few, myself. They made me feel hungry and a bit sleepy, so I think how one might feel depends on the time of day they're taken and if they're taken with food or not. I take mine at lunchtime or dinnertime and notice I can't stay up late (which might be part of the whole point -- they help with insomnia although that's not what I got them for; I got them for energy/lean muscles). I will keep playing around with the time for optimum results.Now my mother, who battles headaches, insomnia, and fatigue loves these and says they clear her head. So I'm ordering another bottle just for her!

I won’t address all the negative things here because apparently these people don’t know the quality of the now products nor do they know how to take the product( and other products) I will skip saying anything derogatory about them. That being said when you’re dealing with an amino acid you should study up on it make sure it’s right for you ,get a good quality, one take it without food, two hours before you eat if possible and drink a whole glass of water with it. That is if it does not have a contraindication with any pills that you are already taking . I will address the people who have the bad reactions and swallowing the tablet. get the capsule or learn how to swallow them( with a full glass of water( amino acids need plenty of water) or crush them up and mix it with water and then drink it. ( i read where one woman had to rush her husband to the ER and declared to never use this product and for anyone to not use it🧐his throat Swoll up because he did not take it properly and did not drink the proper amount of water to get it into his stomach it was stuck in his throat or esophagus )second thing those who have bad reactions of nausea and stomach ache etc. you need to start out with a lower dose. Get 25mg,50mg,100 mg and take lower for a few days then go up to higher dose every 3 days etc. we are super blessed to be able to access supplements as the pharm squad along with their lobbyists and fda continuously daily to take away our freedom of anything that will help us live long healthy lives without a doctor visit & doctor’s prescription ,surgeries etc. we live in a human management dis health society that depends on humans being ignorant, bias and dependent on their Disease management non curing protocol & blue print to not go bankrupt. I hope this helps someone.it is true
