When I was looking into buying this item I took a look at the reviews and some of them with one star were saying that it’s too sharp or it’s not angled right, in which made me feel a little weird about getting it. I ended up buying it anyways and let me tell you, its no where near too sharp, it perfectly scraped all of the bad off of my tongue. Upon arrived of the scraper I took a second to ponder as I do with most of my Bolo purchases, how will this change my life. I stared into the cold peace of steel's soul questioning this very thought. Then dropped the scrapper in a pot of boiling water to kill any germs.I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy with a product I have ordered on Bolo. This thing works great and it feels super refreshing and satisfying to eat and drink. Cleaning the scraper is very easy to do, you just run it under water and use it the next day. I’ve been using this product for a week and there’s no discomfort nor bleeding. I just hope this one doesn’t break or I’m going to have to buy a new one.

Like most Banyan Botanical products, this is well made. I like that it effectively scrapes the tongue without cutting it. It has the right level of sharpness. Also, it is easy to clean.

Just wanted to go over a few things about this product.1. The one piece construction works perfectly. You don't have to worry about handles falling off and you end up with a broken nunchuck looking thing.2. The edge of the scraper is rounded just enough so it doesn't cut your tongue as long as you're not scraping your tongue like you're trying to scrap the black tar off your soul.3. Part of the instruction says to do it before lunch. As long as you're not deep throating the thing, I think you can disregard this part.Overall, 5 star for quality, ease of use, and efficiency. Now I don't look like I'm saving food particles for the upcoming winter months.

I have been using this product for the past two weeks, and I must say I like it very much. I gave it five stars because it works very well, and I have noticed that my mouth no longer has a funky taste in it like it did before. I also feel that my breath 'aroma' has improved to "satisfactory". If you use it correctly, you will notice a huge phlegm-like crud removed from your tongue, especially the back part of it. The edge is just sharp enough to get the job done. Don't be a wussy and barely press the instrument to your tongue; give it some pressure while retracting along your tongue. You may notice a little blood at first, but this will go away with continued use. It is analogous to having your teeth cleaned after 5 years of crud and your gums bleeding because of the time lapse. Just don't be a "masochist" with this cleaner, and you will notice fresher breath the first day of use. I hope this info was helpful.

Somehow I managed to forget I ordered this item from Bolo, and ordered the same item from the seller's website. When I realized my mistake, I started return process. The response from the seller was unexpectable, I'm so impressed with the seller! Now I'm searching their website for other products they produce (which is made in the USA, organic, and great quality).The Cleaner is a very good quality. I use tongue cleaners for 18 years now, and I think it's like brushing your teeth - you need to clean your tongue. It helps to remove bad breath, it also removes bad bacteria. The Banyan Botanicals Tongue cleaner will not fail you: it will not brake, it's equally comfortable to use with one or both hands, and it CAN reach!During my 18-years experience I used different tongue cleaner styles, and this one is just outstanding! So much better than all others I tried.
