This works great for collecting any stuff floating on the pool surface. The correct fitting is included for the 18' round Bestway pool I purchased from Sam's Club, so the installation could not be simpler.The pool came with a fairly high capacity pump, so it was working without the included restrictor on the second inlet, but I wanted it be a bit higher flow. The restrictor made it too strong, so I drilled out the hole quite a bit to get a balance I was happy with. I also bought filter socks and installed one on the basket to catch the little stuff.Overall, the quality seems very good for the price.

Had my doubts about this skimmer cuz I didn't understand how it could work but it absolutely does !!!! Its super easy to install and maintain, the only thing I'd have to recommend is, while it does come with a plastic filter that sits inside , I would recommend getting skimmer socks for the tiny particles... One more thing to be cautious of the bottom of the skinner and outtake hole (on pool) are connected by a hose (how the skimmer gets its suction) is inside of the pool so you have to be sure the kids are aware of the hose & that they don't kick it pull it tug it , so that either you're cool don't start draining or damage the skimmer itself !! .. since I'm partly responsible for Android is here I have a 5 year old boy it was all boy he plays very rough with his friends and we've only had one or two issues but that was solely on our end you just have to be careful!!! And still worth the purchase !!!

When I first saw this I thought it was great idea. I started reading reviews and watching videos. I was disappointed that some people had complained about it not staying place and they had to adjust it all the time because it would stop working. I found another option. You have to lower your water level and cut a hole in the side of your liner. I didn’t like the idea of that. I am over 6 foot and I got the deepest pool I could. I don’t want to lower the water level 2 to 4 inches for a skimmer. So I came back to this.So my thought was this. I will buy this and try it. If it doesn’t work out then I will try the other and cut the hole. Can’t do it the other way around. Once you cut a hole you can’t close it up. Maybe I am not a picky as some people or maybe people don’t know what they are doing.This thing works great. It cleans the pool great. We figured if it becomes a problem we can take out while swimming. We have had the kids in the pool. Jumping, splashing, playing with the skimmer while we tell them to leave it alone. With ZERO issues. I clean the basket out every 2 to 3 days. Make sure it is straight each time (usually it is) the only bad thing I can come up with is sometimes stuff get around the basket and into the screen where hose connects and I have to clean that out. But it is not that big a deal. I am working on an idea to help with that but even if It doesn’t work I don’t care. This thing works great. My problem is we have crepe Myrtle trees that drop these little flower pedals in the pool. So it only makes sense they will find there way through the basket or around it.Wish I bought this thing a long time ago. I don’t have to skim the pool every day or two anymore.

The best $26 I've ever spent. I was skeptical that this thing would work but I haven't had to skim the pool once since I installed this thing. No little bugs floating around and I live in Florida (the mosquito/no see-ums capital of the world) LOL. Every day before this skimmer I would have to skim the top not to mention you'd see all their little corpses floating around below the surface. Idk how it works so well but it does. If you have two suction hoses you probably will have to block one to get the right amount of suction. At least I did. Don't hesitate to buy it, you won't be sorry.

Its a cheap skimmer, and it does work, provided your filter pump is strong enough to do some work(pro tip the one that comes WITH the intex pools, its kinda underpowered but it will work this). Down side. arm thingy works great on outside...needs bend on inside to help keep this upright. Downside, top blue piece of bucket and gray ring float on off and leave. Basket will vanish as well and sink to bottom of pool(because why be logical) I have a rock as large as both my fists in there, and I have a true 4 inch across hand, these are not small fists I have. That rock keeps the inner basket in place, though I think its blocking the suction a bit. Does it work, sort of. mostly it tries to eat any left in place pool floaties, and it had the pool thermometer in there earlier so it WILL pick up stuff. So I think I'm gonna have to do some modification to the plastic and put in swing hasps to hold the works together or I'm gonna have to zip tie one side. Plastic also doesn't seem all that durable, Also some instructions in the box mighta been useful(or I had a box that got missed on the instruction part of the assembly line)

So far so good , straight out the box within a few hours it already collected a lot debris .Very easy to install , straightforward, basically the product is described correctly.. value for money , seems pretty sturdy , would recommend 👍

Good product, we chose this option to avoid having to drill holes in our pool and it has worked very well trapping mosquitoes and keeping the pool clean.

Passt perfekt und sogar recht stabil in einem Quick Up Pool. Für den Preis kann man nichts falsch machen. Gewinde passen und die Leistung in Bezug auf die Reinigung der Wasseroberfläche ist Top. Natürlich sollte man für eine schöne Wasserströmung im Kreis sorgen, damit der Skimmer gut gefüttert wird ... aber dafür gibt es ja 90° Düsen.Achtung bei vielen Düsen passt das Gewinde nicht zu den 32mm Intex Ein- und Auslaufanschlüssen im Pool. Meist sind Sie zu grob und können die Gewinde im Pool beschädigen.
