I found a new favorite tea at a local boba tea shop: Peach jasmine tea with strawberry popping boba! However, it’s not close enough to swing in for a treat as much as I’d like; and at over $6.00 for a glass of tea, it’s not very wise. I tried this tea as a substitute that I could enjoy as often as I like, without all the sugar and expense, but with a delicate floral note that was so appealing in the shop’s tea. It felt very luxe opening the tin and selecting a bag with small “pearls” of tea. It felt like a special treat with monk fruit and a little bit of Torani peach syrup. Would be equally as lovely without the peach. I have a new current favorite and I love how special it tastes. The floral was not as strong as the commercial shop’s, but it’s definitely present. As my first experience with it, it didn’t disappoint.

Flavor is nice and mellow not too bitter or too strong! The reason for 4 stars is price because I can get almost double the amount of Jasmin dragon pearls from an actual Chinese brand for a couple dollars more. Also I thought it was loose pearls but they are in small sachets which is convenient. But the amount you’re getting isn’t much in the container.

I got this because I was in my jasmine tea faze. I was happily surprised by the abundance of jasmine flavor and the delicacy of the sencha tea. I have had many jasmine teas since I bought this and this still rates in my top 3. I just don’t keep buying it because I make more pots of tea at home than occasional cups. The bags are individually wrapped so I can take them with me if I’m going to stay in a stressful environment. A top shelf tea.

I’m not even a massive tea drinker, but bought this on a whim and wowsers… what a banger tea. Instant fan. I’m be exploring all these varieties I think. I really enjoy finding products where you know the makers and owners really care about what they are selling. Good job !
