After discovering the miners were starved for luxuries and needed something to spend their gold dust on, he started stocking chocolate delicacies. In 1852, the enterprising immigrant founded a confectionery shop in San Francisco, which eventually became the modern-day Ghirardelli Chocolate Company. Today, Ghirardelli is America’s oldest continuously operating chocolate maker. Ghirardelli products are sold in grocery stores, foodservice and e-commerce and Ghirardelli also has its own chocolate and ice cream shops across the country.

I had a caramel apple bar for Thanksgiving and bought this to use with the large container of caramel sauce. This was definitely the way to go. The mess was nonexistent, children and elderly both could easily use the pump, and clean up was a breeze. It is sturdy and I plan to use it again and again.

I love the mocha sauce, but the pump stopped working a month and a half after using it. There is still half a thing of mocha left and I can’t get anything through the pump. It’s sad for how expensive it is.

This pump works great with the Ghirardelli sauces! We have the caramel sauce. I read the other reviews but decided to purchase anyway, rather than try to find another pump. I am glad I did. I got the sauce (90oz) directly from Ghirardelli. This pump does not go all the way to the bottom, but I believe this is meant for the 64oz containers. Some reviews mentioned about the pump curving at the bottom. The one I got does not. It is a straight, solid pump. It comes apart for cleaning. I usually just run the Keurig with hot water and pump the hot water through it to clean out the syrup. The the rest of the cleaning is easy. When not in use, I usually just put saran wrap around the tip to keep the pump from drying up. I have not had any issues. I have used it quite frequently for the last 6 months. Last weekend, we used it at a festival and went through 2 1/2 containers (90oz) using the one pump. So it has handled heavy, repeated use. I ordered another one just as a backup...to make it easier to switch to new jug without the delay.

I bought this to simplify my sauce use for my espresso machine, but the sauce in question is not a Ghirardelli brand. It still fits (apparently this is the standard size and pitch/threadcount for larger containers), and works perfectly.My only complaint (hence only four stars) is that it too quickly fails to pull sauce from the container. That is, there's plenty left, but the pump cannot get to it. I think a small modification in the design of the tube could fix this, but I just pulled the pump out and manually poured my sauce for those last few days' worth of espresso before buying a new bottle.

Thanks to the rubber ball or gasket in the end of the pump I have never actually had to clean the tip or had a drip waiting for me. This is also nice because I only take 1 pump every Sunday (or maybe 2 if I need and extra boost) and have never came back to either find a plug of old chocolate sauce in the tip or a mess under it. Hands down the best friend my coffee machine has ever had.

Works well just that when it gets to the end of bottle it won’t do a full pump. Even though there’s are about 2” of syrup left in the bottle. It will leak sauce a little as well.

I bought a gallon of Carmel from the Costco business center and added this pump now I’m 20 pounds heavier eating Carmel with everything because it’s so easy to use. I’d keep this at the back of the counter if you have kids because it doesn’t take much effort to push the pump down. This pump also doesn’t dribble which is great since there’s no cleanup needed.
Pump will drip sauce after use

WHITE CHOC SAUCE PUMP
Ordered this for our white chocolate sauce and was VERY disappointed when it broke in 2 days. We tried rinsing it out in case it was gunked up and nothing worked. This review is in reference of the specific product and not the company. I should have contacted them right away for a replacement but I forgot and then time went by.
