This brake lube (copper lube) is perfect for brake job. It holds up well and plays an important role in brake performance. I use it to lube on the contacting points between brake pads and caliper, as well as the shims on the backs of brake pads. Remember, never use this lube for caliper sliding pins as it will destroy the rubber boots.

Working on lower under car parts (ball joint, tie rod end, calipers, lower strut connections) can cause galling of bolt and nut threads. Using this product prevents/reduces galling and sticking of bolt to other surfaces that are exposed to water/moisture especially underneath cars/vehicles. Removing treated threaded parts is much easier and no galling. Every mechanic and Diyer should have Loctite Copper Anti-Seize Lubricant in their arsenal of lubricants and anti seize.

I believe it was recently mixed, so a longer shelf life without it turning to a solid. In addition, the copper base will prevent my undercarriage bolts from rusting out with no heat restrictions if I need to use it on manifold bolts.
