This product has been a perfect step 2 in weaning our pups from both mom and the bottle. We had an unusually large litter so mom couldn't keep up. We had to bottle feed. This product has been perfect for weaning from liquid puppy replacer to a thicker, added nutrition product before moving on to dog food mush. It isn't available at our pet store so it was great to find it here on Bolo for a reasonable price and fast delivery. It mixes well, no lumps to have to break up, has good instructions for measuring the mix, and the puppies love it.

Perfect for puppies after they stop eating from their mother. My dog did very well during the 4 weeks I gave it to her, so I highly recommend it.

When we got our puppy he would not eat. He was 8 weeks old and I was told he was weaned. But maybe the change was too much for him..we tried every kind of food under the sun..the ONLY thing he would eat.thank goodness is this..He LOVES THIS, it has literally been a life saver. Additionally, he went from 2.2 lbs to 4.9 lbs in a month! He is a cairn apso mix..as close as we can figure.. he is bouncy and punky and naughty as puppies should be..I bought 3 cans and we are on our last can..he is eating other food now..mostly he eats what I feed my 2 other 75 lb adult dogs. He still refuses puppy food, the little squirter! So that, blue buffalo dry puppy food and adult dog canned food. But thank God for Es bil ac..we would have been in real trouble without a product like this! It is the best stuff..it's easier to mix with a small wisk or a relish fork..

It was great for my puppy that couldn’t be with the others due to surgery, and also gave the mom a break from 6 pups feeding off her but it’s as expensive as human babies formula. They should offer a larger size

Glad this exists
When my vet said my dog was going to give birth to 12 puppies and that I would have to help feed them I was freaking out. You don't milk her?! They actually make powdered (or liquid) milk replacer for puppies. Thank God! Unfortunately she wasn't the greatest mother and the girls didn't survive the first night so I had to rescue the remaining female and bottle feed her. There are two different stages of this powder and they both saved her life. She's in K9 training now!
Great supplement
I used this product during my last litter of puppies. It was absolutely fantastic for supplement, when mama dog was nearing the end of her nursing journey. It is very smooth mix as well, and the puppies absolutely loved it. It was also very good and effective to use in the puppy “mush” stage. A+++
