As as has happened to many Subaru Forester owners, the rear door wheel well seal pops off. There is not much holding them on in the first place other than pressure and squeezing them tighter is not a long term soluton. So I used this to glue them in and it worked fine. One note, you need to clean the seals well as dirt and water get caught in it. I fear this is also a potential rust creater as it is on metal. My Subaru dealer was going to take care of the problem but it was noticed as I was leaving the dealership. I did not think to mention it when I drove in as it seem to be holding from squeezing it.
Exactly What I Needed – Super Strong Hold
Used this to reattach some loose weatherstripping on my car door, and it worked perfectly. The adhesive goes on easily and gets tacky fast, so you do have to work quickly—but once it sets, it’s solid. No peeling, no leaks, even after a few rainstorms and a car wash.I’d recommend wearing gloves and having some paper towels handy—it can get a bit messy if you’re not careful. But the bond is super strong, and it saved me from replacing the whole seal.Great product for car repairs or anything rubber-to-metal. Would definitely buy again.
