For instant coffee, this is really quite good. It really does have some flavor and I find it more economical to make one cup at a time

I never really drank coffee. I had some coffee machine coffee at a university campus a couple of times around 2005 and thought it was good. Then around 2011, I had a couple of cups of McDonald's coffee that I thought was good. After that, I asked McDonalds what brand coffee they used so I could brew it at home. They wouldn't give me the exact blend, but they gave me one that they said was close to it. It was expensive as hell. But when I made it, it tasted like crap. I tried using brown filters instead of white ones, and it still tasted like crap. I decided then I don't like coffee and won't ever drink it. So I had a six year energy drink addiction that I think ruined my health. Now I can't have any caffeine without getting sick. I always get decaf tea and won't touch regular tea or regular coffee. I can't have most sodas, caffeine gum, and so on. But this Winter, I thought about drinking coffee again. I don't want to bother with coffee machines so I thought I'd try a decaf instant coffee. I saw this Maxwell with a lot of reviews, and all positive, for a good price. I opted for the two small 8 oz containers because I like small containers instead of big cans. I made myself a 12 oz cup of coffee using a somewhat heaping or rounded tablespoon. I drank half of it and liked it. Then I added non dairy powdered milk and a tiny bit of sugar to the second half and drank it and loved it. Now I'm going to have a second cup the same way. Half plain and black and then top it off with some non dairy milk. I just hope the small amount of caffeine in the decaf won't make me ill. This is good tasting stuff! And decaf coffee has antioxidants too, maybe something I need, so there is that as well.EDIT: I have been drinking it plain ever since. It's so good plain. Why mask the flavor with milk and sugar?

I usually drink Tasters Choice but I was shirt on money this time around. Esp since the price of coffee keeps going up. Even with that, it's still cheaper than buying from let's say even Starbucks. This coffee has a decent flavor. It's not odd tasting, nor is it bitter. The price is good at this moment in time.

Great price and great product, I hope my writing a good review doesn't make the price go up! I like to make my own mix of instant coffee - half regular & half decaf, in a large jar, and that's what I drink every day. I like this brand better than Folgers so I'm very happy with it.
