It's not shown in the image. This has to be considered if you're running them through a tight space, but wasn't a problem for me.

What can you say about an audio cable. This one appears to be of good quality and it works to extend the audio cable between my turntable and home theater receiver. The insulation is fairly thick, but nice and flexible. The male and female connectors appear to be gold plated. A very good buy at about $10 with free shipping for Prime members.

When I plug my turntable directly into my amp, there is no sound unless I'm playing a record. Unfortunately, Ars Technica makes turntables with built-in 4-foot cables, so I need this extension cable. Well, *AN* extension cable. Not these. When I plug these into my amplifier, it makes a horrible buzzing noise. These A/V cables fail at their only job: carrying the signal without distorting it. Do not buy.

I bought this cable as an extension for my turntable, these cords are surprisingly hard to find so I was pleased to find one that seemed well made. The cable seems well insulated and I have had no problem with buzzing or any degradation of sound quality. Great buy for the price

I bought this cable to extend my turntable's cable, which needs to be connected through phono input to the receiver. but when I just added this cable between my turntable and receiver, there was an unbelievable noise. whatever I did, I could not avoided that background noise, kinda hissing sound, but when I remove this extension cable, turntable plays amazingly without any noise at all. the noise was high interference though, when I place that extension cable close to wall electric plug, noise was increasing, but whatever I do, the noise did not go completely, even I tried to place cable on the ground, or as far as I can place from the wall plug..But, I cannot blame the cable, because after I faced with this odd situation, I have tried it with many different cables too, to see if they are going to do the same, cheaper and thinner cables does the same thing though.. so at the end, I needed to change the place of my receiver and plugged the turntable without that cable. and I thought it is not worth to return since it is not a big deal.. Now, the cable is sitting in one of the drawers of my organizer and waiting for another situation that can be used on a non-phono device..

You can feel the good quality of these cables, thick conductors yet flexible. Used them with a Audio Technica turntable and Sony receiver. No ground required because the turntable has built-in preamp. There was no noise, distortion or attenuation with this cables.

Terrible hum from these cables when using them to extended the reach of my turntable to my receiver. Bought a dollar store pair for comparison and the dollar store cable had slightly less hum. Ended up finding what I was looking for from another company for HALF the price.
