In Valor vs. Venom, the villainous Cobra Commander organizes worldwide abductions in order to fuel Cobra's latest global domination plot--an army of super-soldiers created from genetically altered humans and animals. When the Joe team's leader, General Hawk, is kidnapped, his second-in-command, Duke, rallies the troops to save their leader and stop Cobra's nefarious scheme. Joe standards), Valor vs. Venom delivers what Joe's audience wants: lots of combat using a variety of high-tech weapons and gear and carried out by a cast of valiant heroes and hissable villains. The CGI is the best I have ever seen in any US made movie. There will be some who will not like this and those people are the "fans" who are too narrow-minded to accept Gi Joe in new times and that it's not 1985 any more. Anyone who says "this can't compare to the Sunbow series" just simply doesn't get the idea that it's not supposed to compare. It's an entirely differnt time.The storyline on the surface can seem a little silly, but the writers have done an excellent job of putting the Valor Vs. Venom story to the screen. Mucho kudo to all the writers and animators. I personally liked Spy Troops as well, but this movie leaves it in the dust. Advice to anyone, buy the movie. If you're hesitant, check out your local video store and rent it. You are in for a treat and an awesome film.

the onyl reason i got this was because i lvoe gi joe and wanted to see how the new re makes were as far as writers voices and looks as cgi characters but unfortunatly the story sucked and was boring , the bad guys were horrible as far as depth to character the movie was a ploy toget chumps like me to buy that reminice on the good old gi joe, the toys look awesome so i figured it would be nice, but instead i wanted to fall asleep, or shoot myself, shame on whoever was in charge of letting this new re cration turn out so horriblee and borderline homo
