So, I'm a bit biased, being from Detroit and having the best of Middle Eastern cuisine close to home. Shatila is known in Detroit as the best Middle Eastern bakery in the area, and is specifically known for its dozens of varieties of baklava, which are all delicious. This variety pack may seem overpriced, but believe me, you will not be disappointed by the taste or quality of this incredible tray of goodies! Perfect for your next office or family get-together, there is plenty of deliciousness to go around! You will NOT be disappointed!

I bought this for a family get together.....plans fell through but no problems.....these pastries are not difficult to share. My neighbors are delighted to receive these treats. If you have not had this brand you really have been missing out. Treat yourself, your family and your neighbors. Beware...they are quite easy to eat and are not calorie free! Oh well....

The baklava was delicious The pistachios tasted old but worse was the tiny shells in some of the other pastry. Be careful when eating. Shells are very small but can damage teeth

I've had a hankering for some good quality baklava for the last few months. I had a fb ad pop up on my feed a while ago for authentic Syrian baklava made in Syria through a company called Anoush. They were decent, but these Shatila pastries absolutely blow them out of the water. In comparison, these tasted fresher and the pieces were larger. I was really surprised by how big this box is, it's a really good value, especially considering how high quality these are! Usually when I buy specialty food items on Bolo, I realize I'm going to pay a premium to have something I can't get locally. Not so with these. Very generous portions of high quality pastries. I will definitely be buying these again. My only complaint is that I would have liked to see some different flavors(rosewater for example) in the assortment.
